  1. go to %UserProfile%\saved games\dcs\logs
Open  dcs.log in a text editor (notepad++), this will show you any script errors and tell you which line the error is on

usually start from bottom of log file and work backwards

  2. I tried the usual fix of deleteing the un-neeed folder but it cocked the mission up and removed a bunch of stuff , I would suggest you find an earlier version that is a proper miz file ( if u open it in 7z or something and it does NOT have a track folder inside the miz file then use it and update , or start from scratch)

  3. ok , I see what is going on, you have taken an older version of this mission that was a TRK file and converted it to a MIZ file == yes ?

so the "new" mission part is playing your new audio etc BUT the olde TRK info is also playing back as well, and thats why it fubared

  4. Yea, pre-order made sense with hardware and physical media, where there was a finite supply, and people couldn't bear to wait longer than day 1 to get the goods.

20 years ago pre-order made sense not any more

And lets be honest the track record of certain companies for actually delivering what was "promised" has never been great

So I will sit out the ch47 and the new Afghanistan map until we can make an informed decision on what our hard earned coin will get us

It's dumb with software, but this can be an expensive hobby, and I prefer to save wherever I can

This pretty much echos how I feel, 20 years ago pre-order made sense not anymore
