So that's where my files have gone! Thank you Vyrtuoz, I've checked that folder and all the acmi's are in there!

The Problem seems to be with FC, when I run the programme as administrator it does create a ACMI File and it works with tacview, but when I run it normaly it doesn't. I've now changed my properties for the Eagle Dynamics folder so the User has full control of all subfolders and files and now Flightlogs are created and can be used in TacView. I realy should check out this administrator stuff more...

Thanks for the response coolts, but the temp folder is empty. Could it have something to do with my Sims being installed under programme files (x86)?

Hi guys, I've just downloaded this programme but I can't find the ACMI files. I've got Flaming Cliffs 2 and Black Shark recording set. Is it possible that the Sims are not creating a flight log?

I stay low and scan the presumed target area with my Shkval from a save distance, mostly something between 6-8 Kilometers. If I can't find anything I start to climb slowly often you can see targets better if they are partialy covered by trees or buildings. In Coda however I believe I spotet the Convoy from a distance without the Shkval, are you sure you are looking in the right spot? The Target Area is market as a yellow box or line in the Abris in that mission. Check in the Briefing which waypoint is the Ingress and which the attack one. Even if you don't find the first targets the mission should go on, if you are looking in the right spot. Or use your Wingman to scan for Targets.

I think that's a different mission Frederf, Coda is the final mission of the deployment Campaign, I don't recall having any enemy Mi24's in that mission. @ Comanche: hold about 7 or 8 kilometers infront of the target area, a convoy with Tanks, BMP's a Shilka and a SAM will be on their way to the village, you should be able to locate the SAM and take it out, so you can get closer, but look out for missles lauched from the BMP's... The mission is a bit tricky and will have some suprises but I won't tell you more and spoil it for you, if there is trouble I'll give you a walkthrough

Same here, he also only ever seems to find one target that he reports while on recon, I read somewhere that depending on skill of the wingman his recon success will be affected. But that may have been for FC2, however could that maybe also have something to do with the wingmen disobaying? Maybe they don't see the targets and therefore don't attack. They do however report Targets. In the Altitude mission for instance my Wingmen all reported bandits but some of them would not engage.

It doesn't seem to be a very common bug though, I also don't use mods and had a clean install, I didn't even keep my pilot stats. It's annoying though becouse in the Georgian Oil War Campaign a Wingman would be extremly usefull, the only order he does execute is "engage mission and rejoin" but even then he goes storming towards the waypoint like a madman and gets shot down all the time. Funnily enough he does report targets and sam launches etc. but he won't attack any targets. I'll try sending him some Data Link Targets and see what happens

I have the same problem, the Wingman won't attack targets and also will not land but just flies around the FARP or Airfield

What mission are you playing in what campaign, there can be something that you or another unit supporting you has missed out.

If you're using Vista it could be that your screenshots are saved under AppData/Local/Virtual Store/... I was puzzeld to where my screens where going, but was helped by the guys in this forum.

I just wanted to test a mission I was building, not remembering a plane coming in that I told to come in and putting my trust totaly on the ATC Always look twice befor crossing the road!:thumbup:

When I change to external view, nothing happens either, in the track that's working I can also watch it from the cockpit

Hi, it's me again talking about stuff not working. When I save my tracks and want to "watch" them after action, I end up beeing at the controls immediatly. There is one track I can watch wich I saved after the insant action mission, and it's the only track with airstart. But all other Tracks starting on the ground, put me at the controlls. It doesn't matter if i'm in a cold and dark cockpit or on the runway.

Hi I keep getting screenfreezes, I've played the first campaign until the dusk mission but in the combat zone the game freezes up and I get the message that BS has been closed du to a runtime error. Sorry no answer for you, but I also have a crash log, this keeps happening sadly when I've almost finished the mission and mainly in campaigns. Hi, I've upgrade to vista last week and am using the affinity tool, and black shark is running quite good, although I do get frequent crashes at the end of a mission. There's some kind of runtime error concerning Microsoft ++ Visual. There are some other guys that have been having the same problem, but I've not realy found out how to solve it. Anyway, there's a nother problem I have concerning my screenshots, bevor changing to Vista all the screens I took landed in the DCS screenshot foulder, since a couple of days the folder is empty and the new ones I've been doing are not being saved in the folder. Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this?
