  1. Thank you, gives me a lot of hope!
  2. The F15-E has been my most liked aircraft since the late 80's when Hasegawa released some 1/72th scale models I built in my teens. Very excited to see it come to DCS. Massive thanks to @Notso for participating in this, love your videos and the depth of knowledge you're sharing on this jet. The fact that you're a former F15-E pilot changes everything and your words are golden! Kudos to RAZbam for bringing this to life on DCS. note to self: I wonder If I'll be able to -use- of that jet if I get it. Love the the F15-E but I'm worried it might take a PhD to operate it..
  3. Quick Follow-up: I found https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/564/#1780273 I ran both .reg files (A-10A and F-15C) and DCS World let me re-enter my serial numbers and activate over the Internet. I'm glad this is solved but really.. why was that so hard?
  4. Hi, My Windows 10 computer (Precision T5810) died and I got a replacement machine (Precision T7910) that is very similar. I transferred my HDD, HBA, NICs Video Card. Windows 10 Pro seem to have tolerated this pretty well but DCS World didn't: I cannot re-activate both of my purchases: A-10A and F-15C. When DCS starts, it says that the H/W has changed and that A-10A must be re-activated. When I select '[Retry]', it shows another window with my Serial Number in it. From there, selecting '[Next]' goes to: - Automatic Activation in Progress. And then: - Activation is successfully completed. License parameters: Activations left: 8 (that number is always '8'). From there, selecting '[OK]' discards the previous wino and nothing else happens. If, instead of selecting '[Retry]' for A-10A, I select '[Exit]' -then- I get the same type of window (3 choices: Exit, Error report and Retry) but for the F-15C and the same sequence happens again (for the F-15C). I've tried 'I already have an activation key' (which I obtained from StarForce using the info provided by DCS) but it didn't make a difference: I always get prompted to Re-Activate when I start DCS World. The only way for me to start DCS World at all is to select '[Exit]' for both the A-10A and the F-15C but then those two planes only function in 'demo' mode (the Map shows up immediately and controls have no effect). The SU-25T works fine. Any ideas?
  5. Hi All, I used to fly LoMAC back in the days (2010?) and I've installed DCS World 2.5 recently. There is one graphical glitch that's driving me a little crazy and I cannot find a setting to mitigate the issue in either Windows 10 or DCS World. Any advice would be much appreciated. Setup: Dell Precision T5610 workstation with: - Windows 10 Pro (October 2018 update) - 2*8C/16T Xeon V2 chips @ 3.4Ghz - 256GB @1866Mhz RAM. - Samsung SSD - Asus GeForce 1050 ti. - Dell UW3417w 4k monitor (native resolution: 3340*1440), a 21:9 monitor Because my GPU isn't at the top of the line and because I like a good frame rate in flight sims, I've decided to run DCS World in: - Full-screen, 1720x720 (1/4 of 3440/1440) - Settings set to 'High' This gives me a decent flying experience without having the GPU choke on running things @ 3440p (1720x720 is good enough for me). When I start the game and get to the main screen, my mouse cursor movement is amplified by a factor of two from the topleft corner of the monitor: If I want to highlight a button at the bottom right of the screen, I must place the cursor in the center of the screen. In order to reach the 'Nevada' button, I must place the cursor toward the middle of the screen near the left border (the middle of a straight line from 0,0 to the 'Nevada' Button). I've found that if I leave full-screen (Alt-Enter) and go back to DCS (Alt-Enter again) -then- the mouse movement becomes 1:1 as it normally should. I've tried modifying the high DPI settings for DCS World in Windows 10 but it didn't make any difference. Any ideas? Aside from that glitch, I'm pretty happy with DCS and have already purchased a few planes and maps.
