  1. Just asking, is this still on going?
  2. So you mean it would be ideal if the deadzone follows the stick to its newly trimmed position instead of staying at the stick's initial position, is that right? I've never used a FFB stick before and look forward to getting one. But isn't this ideal kind of obvious? Why those people who design and write software for those sticks never got it?
  3. Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just one thing, how will we get this map though? Will ED buy this map and integrate it into DCS?
  4. http://www.vaaf.net/wiki2/index.php5?title=Black_Shark_MultiMonitors Hope this helps.
  5. Harbinger here. That was some awesome fun I had today. I'm really lucky that my first MP experience is such a good one. In the rookie terrorists mission I only crashed once and did an emergency landing successfully after losing right engine, although I wasn't able to make it back to the FARP. The second mission was hard, we all got shot by anti air multiple times. I especially loved the SAM that killed Hijack aka Rusty. To me, who was on the ground at that time, the missile seem to be going really high, since we warned each other not to go high, I said something like "That missile is going nowhere" on TS, and right when I finished, big fireball and Hijack is history.
  6. Great to see you got it working! It's a very neat little function, very useful in some cases.
  7. There's a pretty easy solution. Just double click the the that your headphone is plugged into and a small window will pop out, then choose front speaker so the driver will also use this jack as front channel. See my attachment for an example. I double clicked the circled jack and a pop up window appear to let me choose what channel I want to this jack to output.
  8. I kind of like force sensing, but "does not move at all"... Not sure. Didn't someone mentioned that it actually moves 8mm?
  9. Damn, I missed this thread completely yesterday... Wish I've seen it. Any plan for next Sunday? 17th Jan
  10. Well, DCS isn't very GPU intensive, and you nice video cards are just overkill for DCS. Your GPUs aren't heating up because they don't have much work to do.
  11. Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.
  12. To shout to the ground crew with you door open however requires your engines to be off, other wise they can't hear you.
  13. I think this is the case Yoda's talking about: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/noiseless-computing,741.html I think it never actually entered production. And here's a fun quote from the review: Estimated Cost Less Than $1400.00 US - Final Pricing Not Set
  14. But is it possible to put in two cards and hook up 4 monitors in a 3(camera)+1(abris+shval) setup and bypass the DisplayPort issue?
  15. No need for apology. You were just making your point, and I did not take it as offense or anything. Now I guess I'll have to apologize for unintentionally misleading you into thinking that your statement has unintentionally misled me. Can we stop with this apology thing now? It's getting kind of messy.;) Anyway, I think the point is, we both agrees that HYDRA IS AWESOME!
