  1. I love the UH-1. It took some time to master, but now I can shoot down fighter jets using it. It is always embarrassing to the fighter jet pilot when they get shot down by a Huey
  2. Situational awareness is the best friend of the A-10 pilot. Watch your RWR for enemy air. If it appears, fly in the opposite direction towards friendly air defenses (SAM's or other fighter jets) until it disappears off RWR. The A-10's greatest air defense asset is its low fuel consumption and large fuel tank. You can stay in the air much long than any other airframe in the game. Make them chase you. If they try to engage you, they will run out of fuel by the time they finally catch up with you. If you have been running from them and they finally get within range to engage you (they will have burned all their fuel), they will be rushed to engage you, while you go defensive like the video above shows. Then, slowly turn back towards your object and try again. You can do this all day. I have never run out of fuel in the A-10..you can stay in the air for hours. But, the best way to win in an air combat fight is to avoid enemy fighters by running from them long before they are within range of their long range missiles. So....again watch your RWR and use it to guide your flight towards the objective.
