  1. I hope ED can get enough intel about this helmet, this will be a game changer, a true step into a 5th-generation fighter!
  2. I agree with you. Imagine if, back then, other innovative projects pioneering flight sim in military jets like F-15 and F-16 were afraid to face this challenge. I imagine the '90s and early 2000s were a lot more secretive regarding 4th gen, yet, look where we are standing now. ED's F-35 will be the first true sim of this kind, and I'm sure time will make things even better in the coming years.
  3. I'm confident that you guys are capable of recreating a very realistic F-35 simulation experience, and I'm more than happy to support this idea. We've come so far from the first "full fidelity" module of DCS. Looking back and seeing how things have evolved, I'm sure the F-35 will follow the same path.
  4. The almost real-time refresh rate is quite easy to recreate... even some mods have managed to do such a thing. But I'm curious about some other perks of an AESA radar.. can it be notched? how does it filter the ground clutter if ground clutter is even a thing on AESA radar anymore... I've seen a video that says the F-35 radar can even count the number of axles on a tank chassis, and its size and then determine its model (T-72? T-55? etc) will it be reproduced in DCS somehow?
  5. Just do it... We all know that DCS modules are not 100% equal to their real-life counterparts, classified stuff or not. So why not bring in the F-35A? If someone does not like the plane, go purchase another one and have a good time. I'm happy to have a good time flying with friends on the F-35A. I wish ED success in this endeavor, and I will support the idea.
  6. I fell the same way... The viper is actually a very capable and mature module, i can't understand why there are so few ppl interested in create campaigns for it, free or not...
  7. Hello there sir, congratulations for your campaign, this is really great Please, i would like to know if it is possible to adapt your campaign missions to another type of aircraft, maybe a F-16 with limited payload in order to simulate a 70s F-16A. If it is possible i presume it will need a lot of rework on COM triggers since both aircraft use a very different radio type, could you point me where i could find those triggers? Thank you very much!
  8. [SOLVED] There you go... this happens with cold start, hot start, moving or stationary, anywhere in the deck. AI is ok. EDIT: I've found the problem... when spawning "ATLANTICO CARRIER" there is no collision with it... but HMS Ocean and NAM Atlantico is working fine. Thank you.
  9. Someone else falling through the deck when trying to land / takeoff from this ship?
  10. I've tried to place some static units inside a tunnel for a Combined Arms mission but they spawn above it... i think its the same problem with these shelters.
  11. Can't wait for this! Do you guys have plans for Steam pre release orders too? Say yes please!
  12. Hello dear ED. This is something i would like to see in DCS. I wish to create my own airfield in some places, i think theres only two assets needed for this... 1 - The runway with different sizes . 2 - A parking area to spawn the planes and taxi. There are a lot of assets for hangar, radio, radar and controll tower already.
  13. Thank you very much, i will check it
  14. Hello fellow pilots ! I'm trying to learn how to create a “cinematic intro” for a mission, is a feature used in some of Deka Ironworks missions available for those who own a copy of the JF-17 module. The single player mission named Night Attack have this kind of intro that I'm talking about, after the player click in START he will not be immediately placed in the plane cockpit... the camera will hover around some key positions for the mission... after that the player will finally spawn in the cockpit.
