I've been in the planning stages of my A10 pit for months now. Hopefully will start cutting panels in the next few weeks. The quality of the pit posted in this forum are amazing, I'd love mine to get even half way close! I've had an idea how to handle the NVG toggle & gain. By mounting a very small button box on my headset with a 2 position 90 degree rotary to simulate flipping the goggles up/down and a rotary encoder for the gain. Control for this would via an Arduino mounted in the box or piggy-backing off one in the right hand console. I can't think of any other functions that could go on it apart from maybe a momentary to act as "pause" for TrackIR. Has anyone done anything similar? Any functions you think might be worth adding?

Nice work, this is something I was hoping someone would bring to DCS-BIOS. Looking forward to the shift-register addition.
