  1. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but the wingmen still attack the same target (even if I change first line in the script "local single_attack = true" to "local single_attack = false"). Do I need to do something else?
  2. in my post I was talking about the ability to choose a plane (F-14) if I select the country Finland in the mission editor. In the case of F-14 this is impossible (without editing the lua file - in case of F-14B I have to add "Finland" in the line: {Shape = 'F-14B' , Name = 'F-14B' , DisplayName = _('F-14B'), Countries = {"USA", "Iran", "Finland"}, WorldID = WSTYPE_PLACEHOLDER}). Works fine, the only minor problem is that I have to edit the file every time an update is released (I understand that my edited file is automatically replaced with a new one - the default one).
  3. Will it be (by default) possible to fly the F-4 in the air forces of countries other than the real ones? - Finland (fictional of course) in my case. I ask, because for example F14 is (as in reality) available for US and Iran only and I have to edit \CoreMods\aircraft\F14\Entry - lua file each time after F-14 update. It isn't a big problem, but I would like to know.
  4. The manual will only be available to users who have pre-purchased the module? (or will be able to read it before purchasing?)
  5. My questions about the singleplayer game (I don't have the module yet): 1. Is it possible to control the F-14 in DCS from the RIO seat (using the joystick and throttle)? I know this is impossible in a real plane because there are not flight controls (and I understand there is Iceman-"autopilot"), but I would like to know if Iceman will always turn on automatically when I go to the rear cockpit. I would like to bypass this (in some situations) with the joystick and throttle inputs (to control the plane without "autopilot"). I understand that it will be difficult, but I would like to know if I will be able to perform, for example, an evasive maneuver while sitting in the rear cockpit. 2. Is it possible to stop the Jester from touching any button while I'm in the pilot's cockpit (I found some posts that Jester does certain things automatically (without user command - e.g. when turning on the plane) 3. Is it even possible to fly and fight without the Jester's "help"? (I mean: is there any procedure that requires the simultaneous involvement of the pilot and the RIO)? 4. Conversely to the above: if I wanted to control the plane only from the pilot's seat (as in reality) - is it possible that I will not have to jump into the RIO cockpit at all? (I'm asking because I found information that, for example, when preparing for Phoenix using, the user must jump into the rear cockpit to check one switch) I understand why the F-14 was a two-seater and I know, that I should to coopereate with RIO to use the systems effectively. I know that it is possible to register trial version, but it would be easier for me to ask a few simple questions.
  6. What to do to carry out a group (I mean team - not a "grupp" mode) attack on a convoy? I would like to prepare an attack in "line abreast" formation and fire the missiles at the same time (me and other AI pilots). Is the only solution to use a Lua script? (or maybe there is a waypont option available in the mission editor)
  7. Question asked in the subject. I ask about licenses: Freeware - Free version, Unlimited distribution Of course - I think it would be appropriate to ask the author, but I would like to know the general rule.
  8. Thanks for all the replies. So - I modified my plan (now - to buy Warthog stick only - without the throttle). I hope it will be possible: - pitch and roll with the Thrustmaster stick (x and y axis) - rudder and throttle with my old joystick. But I have additional questions: * first question: what happens if i connect a second joystick? (will there be another "category" in the configuration menu? - now i have 3 categories: keabord, my joystick and mouse.) - I imagine that there will be 4 categories (keabord, first joystick, second joystick and mouse). Is it true? * second question: will there be a conflict if I set the rudder (in my old joystick menu) not "by default" as the RZ axis, but as the X axis (usually used as roll control) - so I will have two separate X axis configurations. Sorry for my questions but I don't have a second joystick to check (before I will buy new one).
  9. I plan to buy a Thrustmaster hotas set (stick + throttle) or the stick itself (magnetic base + Hornet grip). But I don't have enough money to buy rudder pedals right now. So (temporarily) I could use a second joystick (not the Thrustmaster) as a rudder controller (or rudder + throttle + a controller with a few buttons - if I will only buy a stick). So, my question: Is it possible to configure two separate joysticks in the Hornet DCS menu? (main - as pitch and roll + main button controller; and the second as - mainly - the rudder)? I found a few topics about it in DCS, but didn't find a clear answer.
  10. Will be available fictional liveries?: - Ilmavoimat (Finland) - Armée de l'air (France)
  11. I don't know what happened. The problem disappeared today (without changing any setting or updating). So now - OK.
  12. I used my Viggen without problems (everything worked perfectly)– until today (or maybe yesterday, when I downloaded recent dcs update and Marianas addon). After start, my Viggen (when SPAK mode is on) is „automatically” trimmed steep nose up. I can set eventually (by trim) nose down position, but if I enable other autopilot modes (even altitude hold mode), my plane starts to be nose up (very steep), until stall. What is interesting – when I turn off SPAK mode – I can fly almost without problems, but I cannot use any autopilot mode. Is there a problem with Viggen – caused by recent DCS update?
  13. Thanks for the informations and map views.
  14. 1. Is possible to use this map to create modern missions? (flying for example Mirage or Gazelle) 2. I can't find detailed view od the map. My question is: is Avranches town included in this map? coordinates: 48°41′06″N 1°21′20″W 3. The same about Mont-Saint-Michel 48°38′10″N 1°30′41″W 4. In the shop this map is described as "Early access", so could I buy it and use it now, or should I wait until somenthing will be ready?
  15. I have found old post with link to download P-51 DCS Armée de l'Air skin. I tried to download it, but unfortunately the link is empty now. Is a possibility to download somewhere Armée de l'Air skin for P-51?
