  1. No way the actual poly count is 21,673. You've got to be using a mesh-smooth of some wort that is additionalising the total poly-count per editable poly. If your 3d program doesn't allow you to collapse that object down to base (actual poly-count looks like to be 100,000+) then it won't even work in a game. Yes, i know your not using it in games, just saying that for a model THAT GOOD LOOKING the poly count would be 100K+ easily.
  2. Hi MadMaxter, where did you find those awesome plan views with profile dimensional drawings of the F-4B % N. I'm into modelling and could defo do with future images like that for working with. Here's my current project near completion: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=40113 RED5|R1pper http://www.virtualredarrows.com
  3. This is a repost of my original post in the VRA forums: http://www.virtualredarrows.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=963 (new original model, from scratch) Model will be completed next week, and a futher 1 week for texturing. It will be publically avaliable for download and use as freeware for the downloadable VRA model/add-on. RED5|R1pper
  4. ellaborate on the thread you've made Mastiff, or else we can't help. From the looks of the post, are you asking about 6-dof for trackir in LOMAC:FC? If so, no 6-dof, only 2-dof. DCS supports 6-dof though. If this isnt the answer your looking for and still need help, post back. :P Laterz
  5. not even enough to break a 5 year olds pocket-money bank.
  6. Right, thanks. Was looking for that exact answer from the start. Looks like i'm just going to have to wait a while longer :helpsmilie: btw, DCS is not using starforce but securom for it's protection software. Completely different and unrelated combatability issues. Unrelated: Here are some pictures of work-in-progress of a model i've been working on for the Virtual Red Arrows www.virtualredarrows.com (Virtual Aerobatics-team) Bae Hawk t1 Reference: Also shifting gear over to work on the folland gnat soon. btw, all these will be free and publicly avaliable in the very near future. So keep your eyes on the home-page for updates.
  7. http://www.star-force.com/support/users/windows7/ I need to find out if lock on will support this version of it though. No-one has been able to confirm for me, and nowhere online does it say. Looks like LOMAC is a dieing breed.
  8. How do you mean? If your talking updates to OS, yes. Windows updates update the OS to the most currently updated version every so oftern. It was an update that allowed Starforce to be run on windows 7 beta, but whether it will work with LOMAC:FC is another question all together. I just can't seem to find out an answer from anyone, i'd really like to get on windows 7 and start back to work on the models i'm making for games (LOMAC:FC, DCS, FSX, etc). REDR|R1pper
  9. Hey everyone, new to the forums, heavy into modelling. Will have some nice things to hopefully show for the Virtual Reds in the coming weeks. But for now i was hoping someone could help me confirm whether the new support for STARFORCE on windows 7 beta is compatible with that of Flamming cliffs. Dieing to get into windows 7 beta, only i need a serious confirmation. Can anyone lend me a hand/assistance please? Much appreciated! REDR|R1pper LOMAC:FC modeler2nd year aerospace engineering graduate Platinum PC© www.platinum-pc.co.uk
