  1. Hi hein, I am personally not to use what the issue is here. I see the point you are trying to make, but if you read my manual, the IFLOLS section will show we are talking inches here not feet. I’ll be impressed if you can fly that accurate because I can’t. Mis-alignment and Mis-calibrations irl. are often much more excessive. And even if calibrated perfectly it would only show the correct values under ISA conditions. As temperature and pressure will directly influence what you see. Fly the ball and use the GS for awareness and a rough idea of how you are doing during the approach turn,
  2. Hi Mark, Glad to see you have actually taken the time to read my manual, and See GB already beat me to answer your question. I hope that helped answer all your questions and look forward to see you name on the S&A discord. Just to clarify as GB already said. The Bolter/waveoff pattern is connected to CASE III and will be referencing the FB. The Bolter/waveoff procedures connected tot the CASE I/II pattern are different and in relation to the BRC. I have looked up the statement regarding 'ABEAM the BOW' what this means is: Do not initiate a turn straight away if you bolter or being waved off.. Lets assume you would be waved off in the very last stages of flight, an immediate turn to the BRC would turn you towards the Island, or in the direction of Cat I and Cat II where launches might be in progress during CQ... So the message I tried to get across, continue straight and level with a positive rate and start the turn beam the bow. Hope that helps ;)

  5. Hi Joker62, Many thanks for your feedback and maybe a good eye opener to add the definitions in the next revision. - A technique waveoff: worth 1.0 = Due deviations from centerline, glideslope and/or angle of attack that are unsafe and need to be aborted. Worth 1.0 . "bad piloting" - A Pattern waveoff is related to "the pattern" worth 2.0 = As the word describes think of a gross overshoot, too long or too short in the groove etc. - A foul deck wave off = A waveoff that does not effect the GPA or boarding grade and is related to the deck not being clear or the arresting system not being set on time "Beyond the pilots control" hope this answers your question. For any further questions feel free to ask or join our discord ;) https://discord.gg/fKZYQ7c

  10. Hi Texac. Many thanks for being so helpful. Does this mean that everybody is having those issues at the moment ? I haven’t really noticed it being wrong until yesterday I am just supprised that even on DCS standard liveries the helmet texture is wrong. Is there a new layout example that I maybe can download ?
  11. Hi Texac, hope you’re well, When did that happen ? The strange thing is, it is weird on every helmet except the standard white grey helmet. Even on the standard dcs liveries like the standard blue angels one... How would I resolve this ?
  12. Hey all, After Reinstalling DCS 'INCL the SAVED GAMES FOLDER' my hornet helmet textures seem completely screwed .. Anybody else having this issue, or knowing how to fix this ?
  13. I have exactly the same
  14. Hi Team,, Is there any chance we can get information / Documentation about new added features ? I see the Litening pod has received some additions also for the JDAMS ,, but there has been nothing mentioned about how those systems actually work. Is this coming ? seems to be a little useless without. Rather now how things are supposed to work instead of just playing with it, thinking I understand what its doing. Regards,

  17. Hi all,, Is it normal that when I go ACM mode using the Dogfight switch I do not get to see the allowable steering error circle. this also prevents the Dynamic Launch Zone to appear when I have a target locked. But when I manually go ACM mode using the button on the FCR the circle does appear and then when a target lock occurs the Dynamic Launch Zone will appear. Is this normal or am I missing something ?
  18. Hi all, I am looking to join a squadron in the European timezone. Currently flying the F-18 and F-16 in DCS and the B-787 in real life. Current flying experience: about 4-5 years online Flown, the JS3100-3200, DHC-8, B-737 and now B787 in real life. I would like to operate as a squadron member in a squadron that flies as close to real life procedures, incl, RT ans sops. Nationality Dutch, but fluent in English. looking forward to your replies. Regards,
  19. would somebody be able to answer this question in a plain language. I have not really had any issues with target locks before, only just recently. Detecting targets is not the issue at all, but recieving a hard lock seems to be the issue. regards.
