I have yet to survive a mission by myself. In almost every mission I get hit by the Sam's, no matter how hard I yank and flare...

Hey, I spotted some minor problems in M5 today: Some voice lines were off: - We get the picture for the mission at the holding, where he tells us that Hate 1-3 is out, and at the same time Hate 1-3 first reports that he is out - Jester calls good hits on the target on the way back, well after dropping the bombs Some AI issues: - My flight never rolls in to drop the bombs. I´m supposed to be in a 10sec trail, but they just turn to the next WP, without attacking the target - On the way back, we nearly collide with the F5s as we cross their way on the initial to the runway

Yes, that could be true But to be fair, after spending a couple of hours again in the hook: The flight model has improved a lot since launch. At least in my opinion.

The posted video from ralfidude was awesome already. Please keep them coming, so we have something to dream about while waiting...

My suspicion simply is that the chinook did not sell es expected and now they are kind of abandoned it. When the real bad EA of the Viper happend, they said they learned from it and would never again launch a module in this early state they did with the Viper. But for me, the Chinook launch was even worse! And now almost no updates in a year, but Afghanistan, Iraq, Mig 29, F 15C, F 35... Clearly the focus has drifted to quantity instead of quality, which is a shame... I bought a lot modules over the years and I always wanted to support ED, but recently I just don't think that's a good idea since I don't see that they are really taking care of their stuff. Maybe we are lucky now that the Viper came out of EA, but I hardly think so. So the Chinook together with Afghanistan were my last EA purchase from ED as long as I don't see any notable progress on the chinook.

Im pretty sure you can fly this alone without any problems. I fly airliners a lot in X-plane and you can use those without any problems as well, even though they are 2-seat aircraft. You will have to punch your data in by yourself, but this isn't a real problem. So I guess this will apply to the Hercules as well

Looks very promising! Finally the practice with airliners pays off....

I think we all have seen more than once, that YouTubers have the modules before anyone else... At least some more videos except the trailer would be nice

I was about to open a topic and ask how far the Chinook went, after the pretty disappointing release. Haven't flown it since the first week, and it seems, that it is still very buggy, or even worse if my mfd goes black when pushing buttons?! So better don't fly the Chinook at the moment?

As the title says: In the training mission for the TT rockets the plane has none equipped.

Is that kind of "drift" normal? When going for a carrier landing on the final turn the plane feels more like it is flying sideways then a turn. Is this the way it was/should be?

Nah, I´ll pass on this one... Oh, Reflected is doing a campaign for it. Bought!

good job (as usual)
Viking 1-1 replied to AldousHuxley's topic in DCS: F/A-18C The Rampagers Campaign
Just finished the 2nd Mission (The raid) with 3h or more. It is just awesome! The dialogs are excellent and the missions are really fun and engaging. I'm not using any time acceleration and I enjoy every minute of this campaign. The added music together with the excellent lighting in the early morning hours gives the campaign a Triple-A feeling. Just unbelievable how much entertainment you get for those few bucks the campaign cost. Excellent work!
