I just want to be able to save my progress half way through a mission and continue later. is this asking too much?

Same thing happens to me, successfully competed mission 1 and 2, got 60 points for mission 2, the mission finished and exited cleanly, but then the campaign goes back to mission 1. The dialogue still shows that I have completed 2 missions. But running the campaign goes back to mission 1.

Absolutely Loving this Campaign, took me 4 attempts to finish mission 1 and I enjoyed every attempt. the level of detail and things that have been included make this both enjoyable and challenging, there are so many things happening around you that you can't take it all in, in just one attempt anyway, and mastering these missions really makes you a much better pilot. best dollars I have spent on DCS todate.

Easy fix: Before mission, strip your wingman naked :music_whistling: Haha Yea , when I saw him firing, (luckily missing) I quickly ordered him to Jetison his weapons. that worked and I was able to complete the mission.

Just completed it today, hover just before you get to the smoke, just in front of it, not in the middle of it, its a tight squeeze, with the trees but doable.
