  1. Hi, you need to install the display link manager app to your pc, which will allow you to control the brightness on each individual monitor Hope that helps
  2. As requested, a couple of pictures of my mounting solution for the winwing panels It definitely could be improved to make them more stable. The extra winwing long bolts are too large for the panel mount holes but if you made them slightly bigger, they'd fit, also the holes are just slightly off centre to the mfd mounts but again if made bigger the holes would align on one side I had to use a plastic spacer I'd got in my toolbox to bridge the gap and make a tight fit and then put a screw through the mfd mount so that the panel mount rested on it and could be adjusted to the right height. The advantage of using the winwing panel mounts is the panel angle's can still be adjusted. hope that helps anyone looking to mount the winwing panels with the MIP
  3. it's all a bit cobbled together, I'll take some pics tomorrow behind the panels, the original take-off panel brackets are just a bit off for the bolts, so I've supplemented them with good old cable ties, it's still a bit looser than I'd like but it does work and looks nicely integrated
  4. This is my setup; I had to find my own bolts and fudge it a bit but there is enough space to mount the panels below the side mfd's with enough leg room to slide in
  5. the JF-17 used to be available for fast menu's in open beta the j-11 is still there but the JF-17 has disappeared
  6. order 2065 arrived today. installation is easy they said! It was easy enough unscrewing the throttle, then the fun started, I think someone else has had a problem with short ribbon cables. The bottom one on mine was so short the throttle side wouldn't come off more than about 1/2 an inch. I have an early warthog throttle and it may be this cable is longer on later ones. To complete the installation i had to remove the other side of the throttle, luckily this is relatively easy. Remove the throttle detant cover and there are two small screws at the base of the side cover, push the throttle fully forward, lift like lifting over the detent and you can access the first screw. push the throttle all the way back and do the same for the second screw. this gives you access to unplug the cable and free the other side of the throttle, installation was then a breeze. when plugging the cable back in it helps to have a pair of small pin nosed plyers to hold the plug. there were no problems with calibration, Hope this helps anyone else who also finds short ribbon cables on opening their throttle.
