I see them in Aircraft Additional Properties, Helmet options and Laser codes (F16), the Menu is the 3 dots one, skill must be Client or Player.

Be sure you have bind the light switch on the left throttle (called pinky switch), this is your switch to turn ON / OFF F18 Lights.

MISSION 6 problem (no comms after dropping bombs)
During startup, player can get damaged by the adjacent F14 unfolding its wings. This is a DCS thing with the Tomcats and player's aircraft is set to invincible - however, the immortality does not work when the wheel chocks are on. Therefore make sure to remove the wheel chocks before the 5th minute of the mission. This is out of my hands and we need to wait for a fix.
After the attack there are no more comms in M06. This is linked to DCS bug with AI Tomcats refusing to drop guided bombs (already reported to ED). Since half of the package do not drop, some of the triggers are not fired. This is out of my hands and we need to wait for a fix, although the mission can still be completed.
  4. pokeraccio's post in Comms ignoring COMM 1? was marked as the answer
You have easy comms option ON
Try to turn it off in OPTION -> GAMEPLAY

    from DCS Manual:
Easy Communication. With Easy Communication on, the radios will automatically tune to the selected recipient's frequency. In addition, the radio menu will only display objects present in the mission and highlight those with whom contact is possible. With Easy Communication off, the player has to tune the correct radio set to the correct frequency for the desired contact and select the correct contact out of the full radio contacts menu.
  5. pokeraccio's post in A Question about ACLS and Case I Approach! was marked as the answer
Night time it is enough to trigger case 3 recovery.

    ref. Supercarrier manual
    Case II Recovery
Case II recovery occurs during daylight hours when conditions may be poor on the approach but adequate for landing under visual flight rules. The cloud ceiling must be above 1,000 feet and visibility more than 5 nm. This can be thought of as a combination of Case I and Case III. The Case III procedures are used outside 10 nm and Case I procedures are used inside 10 nm. For a CASE II recovery, you will radio “see you at 10” when the aircraft is 10 nm from the carrier just as on a Case I recovery. Radio control is transferred from the approach controller to the tower controller. At this point, the pilot performs an overhead break and landing. No Case I holding stack is required.
    Case III Recovery
Case III recovery occurs when any cloud celling is below 1,000 feet or when visibility is less than 5 nm regardless of cloud ceiling. All night operations are conducted in Case III
