Thank you so much rob10. The nws problem was my joystick button.

I have been flying the Viper since it came out, but the variety of weapons that the F-18 has, has caused me to look at the Hornet as a nice variety. I have 2 problems right off, nose wheel steering, I have a button on my stick assigned and paddle switch for the disconnect. F-18 guide says push the button you get nws in the hud hold button down for high rate. What I get is nothing when I press the button and nws when I hold it down. What am I doing wrong. How are the buttons around the DDI's numbered? I have seen lower left being 1 and upper left being 1. What is correct. Thank you.

What is the secret for adjusting the tacan. Its driving me crazy.

Just started flying this wonderful little airplane so this has probably been discussed, so forgive me if it has. What is the secret to adjusting the tacan? The instructions say right and left clicks but its not that simple.HELP.

You are right, some how an F-15E folder got in my Mods Acft folder and caused the problem. I want to add, that when this first started, I completely removed my Mods folder and that did not fix the problem. It was after I did what Rob10 suggested and when I checked the Mods folder, did I find the culprit. Thanks to all who put up with my rant. Thank you for the suggestions rob10, I tried all of that with no joy. I since have done a complete uninstall-reinstall of DCS open beta and only install the F-15E after the reinstall and that didn't work either. I'm about to give up, I obviously am missing files but I don't know what or where.

By letting it rebuild, do you mean uninstall and reinstall the module? Also, I have tried running the repair, it didn't help.

I have purchased the F-15E Strike Eagle and I'm having some problems, so I was wondering if I delete it, can I reinstall it or would I have to purchase it again?

Let me add that any command listed under HOTAS is not listed under "all commands except axes" I also have no commands for the OSB's around the MFD"s { pardon the nomenclature, I fly the Viper}

I guess I'm not doing a good enough job explaining myself. I have been at this long enough to know how to assign the commands and what the categories hold. I needed to assign the nose wheel steering switch to my stick but there is no command for NWS except under HOTAS and I don't have that option. How do I get that option back?

I don't need WSO, I need F-15E and its two pictures with the drop down moved so you can see the selection I have. I don't have HOTAS.

I posted this problem in the Razbam F-15E section but thought I might get more help here. In the controls page, if I chose F-15E then use the commands drop down menu, I don't have a HOTAS selection in my menu. If I choose F-15E-WSO, the HOTAS selection is there. I obviously can't assign commands if I have no option. Could this be a bad download? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Jackjack but I need HOTAS in the F-15E and its not there.

With F-15E selected in the CONTROLS section, when I use the drop down menu, I have no HOTAS option presented. This obviously makes it hard to assign commands when there are none to choose. If I select the F-15E- WSO, there is a HOTAS option available. Am I missing something, or do I maybe have a bad download? Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Skywalker, thank you so much for the help. Sorry it took me so long to respond but I was away from the computer. Yes, the RF switch was in the wrong position. As I had said in my earlier post, I knew I messed up something, I just didn't know what. Thanks again.

how is it correct if the antenna isn't moving?

radar test.trkI had asked for help with the radar antenna in my game not tracking up or down and was told to provide a track file. I did a total uninstall and reinstall and it worked for awhile then quit. Help.

All of a sudden I have no radar antenna movement. Cursor works, symbology is there and radar contacts show up, I just can't adjust elevation. What did I do? Antenna elevation control on my throttle is working fine. I know I probably screwed up something, but I just don't know what.

The device tool is not opening all the way, I only have half of the screen, but I can't find a way to expand it. Help
