Thank you, even if you don't have any of the parts I need thank you for looking.

Thanks again, but I can't afford to buy them right now. Thats why I hoping for a trade.

Thanks, I've seen them. I don't have alot of money and I love doing things myself, so I'm hoping that someone would be willing to trade because spare parts are so hard to find. I have some A1302 Hall Sensors but I've never used them. When I use and Arduino to try and find the best way to place the magnets around the sensor I get values from 135 to 850. I never gotten it to a value of 0 or 1024. I don't want to destroy the board in the throttle because I don't know how to use the hall sensor, it came with a RealSim USB adapter. The TM throttle I bought did not have a throttle tensioner pad, I've tried to 3D print my own but I'm having trouble with it, I can't get it to work like it should. If someone is in the process of fixing/modding their throttle or has taken pics and measurements of the tensioner pad, so I can reproduce it. I would be willing to trade any of the parts I have for someones time and expertise with pics and measurement of the tensioner pad and how to use a A1302 with TM Cougar F-16 TQS. Thanks.

I have a few parts to trade, or sell but there are some parts I need. I need a throttle pot, either a working TM throttle pot or an after market and a throttle tensioner. 1-Dogfight barrel and cap no switch, I have some mini momentary on-off-on TM switch is a latching on-off-on. 2-Analog thumb stick and one metal cap one is on the PCB the second is removed from the PCB and 1 plastic wedge, it fits behind the analog stick and keeps it in place. UPDATE someone asked about the thumbsticks, he asked about their condition, so I tested them as best I could. the 2 thumbsticks came together, I took the sellers word but if you look at them closely you will see they are 2 different styles and models. The Thrustmaster Thumbstick has a narrow dead spot on the X axis. Testing with a multi meter the center value is around 38K, the dead spot is around 40K, watching my meter the values start to rise, drop to 0 then picks back up around 41k. 1-Radio switch, one of the switches is bad, but its an easy fix just order some 3x3mm switches. 1-RNG cap 1-stripped grip housing, stripped of parts and paint and repainted black UPDATE: I got a few more parts from a broken Cougar Base, I posted a pic below. The Cougar Grip works perfectly. The PCB or electronic board in the Cougar base works perfectly also.

I forgot to add, I have a few spare parts to trade, it someone wanted to trade me tensioner pad or a new after market throttle sensor. 1-Radio switch, one of the switches is bad, but its an easy fix just order some 3x3mm switches. 1-RNG cap 1-stripped grip housing, stripped of parts and paint and repainted black I have a 3D printed RNG and ANT caps too, I can print more. -
Thrustmaster F-16 TQS pot replacement with A1302 and spare parts

It's a Fender 100k B Mid Boost Pot 1/4 " shaft part number 004-9443-049. To me they are the same pots that TM used, same size same center detente. This is what I ordered: https://www.ebay.com/itm/004-9443-049-Fender-100K-B-Taper-Mid-Boost-Potentiometer-Bass-Center-Detent/263720422645?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 Just to warn you, you have to disassemble the RNG pot to replace the old pot. You just use a small flat head screw driver to bend the metal tabs, bend slowly and carefully or you will break them. If you do break the RNG pot you can order any CTS balance blend pot, they are dual pots but the metal housing are the same as the RNG pot I added some pics of them dissembled, the complete pot is the Fender pot. -
I bought an old TM Cougar F-16 TQS. It needed a lot of help. So far I have found that Fender 100k pots with center detentes are perfect replacements for the RNG and ANT pots. You have to disassemble the RNG pot and the new Fender pot and swap out the parts, its easy to do just be careful if you are swapping out the brass contact for the pot, bend the tabs slowly or they will break. I swapped mine so It would have a crisp center I need to replace the throttle pot, it is spiking, I have some A1302 hall sensors and magnets but I don't know how to use them, Can anyone help? The last problem I'm trying to solve is the throttle tensioner, can anyone send me pictures of one? Possibly measure it to?

I'm no longer wanting to sell my throttle. Thanks for the interest.

Thanks, like I said before, I don't post on blogs/forums. So if I broke so kind of etiquette by originally posting it here, didn't do it on purpose, just didn't know. Thanks again for pointing out the 'for sale' threads.

Thanks, but I don't understand what a forum devoted to "sailing" has to do with PC joystick. I've looked for forums/blogs to buy a broken Cougar, the only place I found was Ebay, can you tell me were it is? There are 2 complete Cougars on Ebay today, 1. is listing the 'buy it now' for $950, the 2. for $400. The people wanting a $1k are asking way to much, but $300-$400 is the price range I have seen them go for. So that and the price I paid are the only things I have to go on. I don't spend any time on blogs or forums, so if I posted it in the wrong place forgive me. I just looked at the DCS forum homepage and didn't see it a 'for sale' thread.

Would anyone be interested in buying a Thrustmaster Cougar F-16 throttle? Its only the throttle but it comes with a RS TUSBA it converts the throttle's game port connector to USB so you can use it without the stick, plugs directly into your PC. I just bought if off Ebay, because it came with extra parts for the throttle. I just wanted the parts now I have a throttle I'm not really interested in keeping. I forgot to add the price, I am thinking around $230 because complete Cougar sets go for $400-$500 on Ebay, I've seen people asking for a $1k but I'm discounting those. The RealSimulator RS TUBA cost about 75 Euro's new. If I'm wrong on the average price for Thrustmaster Cougars please let me know. I'm not looking to make a profit just hoping to get my money back. PM if you are. I'm keeping it unless someone wants to pay more than I paid for it. When I got the throttle it was in worse shape than I thought, the grips paint looks like it was painted with a can of spray paint, has bubbles all over it. The tension was broken, the tension/brake pad came apart, the previous owner had wrapped the arm in duck tape to add tension. I fired up AutoCad used my calipers to measure and created a 3D printable replacement here is a link: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4110990 I used the 3mm version, you will have to do some sanding, when I got it to fit I used the finest grit sandpaper I had to make it as smooth as possible, regreased it and it seems to work great now. I gets a little sticky when using the tension wheel to add tension but I'm happy with the results. It came with a extra grip that has a much nicer paint job, I switched them out, all the buttons work the only problem I can find with it is the Ant Elevation and Manual Range pots center dententes seem worn out, does anyone know how to fix them? I talked to the guy, he says that no one including Thrustmaster is making a replacemnt for MAN RNG pot, he says that you can find a pot with everything but the center dentente. So can it be taken apart and repaired? Just to repeat the center dententes are extremely hard to feel.
