  4. Sorry guys, no missionpack today. :( I'm not finished with my test and my girlfriend want to see me on the coutch. Tomorrow I will release it.
  5. Well many way's leads to Rom and every mission builder has his own way to get his mission to work. :)
  6. By the way: It takes 3min to fire. If it is out of ammo it takes up to 60min to automatically rearm and again 3min to fire again. So if you want that the Arty is stop shooting, simply trigger the A.I. OFF again.
  7. Add the Arty to the map and open the advanced WP-options. There you can find "Fire at point". Once added you can see a small zone and a line on the Arty-symbol on the map. Place the zone where you want to fire at. Open the trigger list. Trigger: MISSION START Condition: Time less 5sec Action: A.I. OFF - Arty (Arty will be deactivated, no moving, no fireing) Trigger: ONCE Condition: Time more - xsec (or when ever you want to activate the Arty) Action: A.I. ON - Arty Please keep in mind that the Arty will move the canon directly after activating A.I. ON but it needs up to 3 minutes till it starts fireing!

  9. Guys, I can't believe that this is because of my missions. In mutiplayer the performance is worse than in singleplayer, this is a fact. Do you guys don't have problems in other missions? #### Little update: Since the last version I spend ca. 20h of intensive editor work because of some JTAC problems with units with holdingtime. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=82078 The most work is to remove all the holdingtimes of the units and to rework the trigger list. Now all the units are active. The random triggered units will get deactivated at missionstart and moving units are set to AI OFF till the players/clients are in the area. I hope the JTACs will report the units without problems now. In addition I changed some things in GudautaRush. I removed some JTACs but added this function directly to the "Stryker convoy" witch will report the enemy checkpoints on his route to the airport. I also moved the JTACs in RookieTerrorists to a higher location because they get killed although they are "invisible" and "immortal". :doh: Don't ask... And of course I changed the mission settings of civil traffic from forced medium to unforced. ;) Today evening I will test all this changes. If all goes well I will release the missionpack after the test. :joystick:
  10. @ HiJack: If the setting is unforced in the mission options, the settings of the host/server (singleplayer options) will get active. If the setting of the host/server is OFF/unforced the settings of the client will get active. I want to do it like that because personaly I want to see civil traffic. By the way: Are you sure that the low performance is because of the civil traffic???
  11. By the way: I hope to release the next version with a lot's of fixes and -becasue of JTAC-problems- completely reworked triggers on the weekend.
  12. There's the problem. The left checkbox: - Checked = FORCE - Unchecked = Let it depend on the user setting The right checkbox (If FORCED) - Checked = YES - Unchecked = NO So you FORCED it to NO. Check the right checkbox also if you want to be immortal.
  13. You know that you don't need to [Point] a target to crate a SPI? Try to get into the habit of only [Point] a target if it is moving. The TGP is ground stabilized. That means it remains on the coordinates it is looking at. You don't need the [Point] mode for that. The [Point] mode is to track moving targets. It recognizes the vehicle in the image and try to track it. If a target is not moving it is better to simply slew the TGP on it and press TMS fwd long to create a SPI without [Point] mode.
  14. That's normal. The MAV locks the target with the biggest contour near the tracking gate. If you see (when you lock) that the MAV is moving away from that point you slew it to, simply press Chinahat fwd long again to slew it back to your SPI. Then try it again and again and again till it is locking the correct target. This is not a bug, it is a reaistic feature. ;)

  16. As I had to do with all of my missions you have to rework your mission. Technically you can open the mission in the editor and play the mission. But there are so many changes/differences between BS1 and BS2 the mission will not work as it did in BS1. You have to rework it.
  17. I heard about this problem. As I know this is a known bug of the software. It's not depending on the mission.
  18. @ july865: This mission was created with BS v1.0.2 In this version a folder "Config" was created into the .miz file. If you delete it it should be ok. (will do this for next version) @ HiJack: Setting is forced to MEDIUM. But you'r right. I will not force this and let the setting up to the client.

  20. I think I fixed the view-problem. I will test it and release the fix (and some other fixes too) in a new version soon.
  21. @ Groove: Warum weigert sich denn ED gegen eine Version, in der alle Sprachen vorhanden sind? In der vorherigen, englischen Version von WH war es doch so, dass das Menü teilweise auf Deutsch war, wenn das Windows auf deutsch eingestellt war. Das war doch schonmal ein Ansatz in die richtige Richtung. Warum hat man das wieder aufgegeben? Was ist denn alles Deutsch in der deutschen Version? - Menü (kein Problem das für mehrere Sprachen umzuschalten) - Handbuch (packt man einfach in allen Sprachen auf die DVD) - Nachrichten in Missionen (gut, hier muss man die kompletten SP-Missionen in allen Sprachen in die jeweiligen Verzeichnisse packen. Beim Start der Campagne muss die GUI abprüfen, welche Missionen/Sprachen sie starten muss.) - Funkspürche (Bin mir nicht sicher, ob die in BS2 und WH deutsch sind, wenn ja, selbses Problem wie bei den Missionen) Das ist meiner Ansicht nach alles lösbar und durch diese Lösung muss auch nur ein Patch erstellt werden. Somit muss ich niemanden mehr zur englischen Version überreden und es heult auch keiner mehr rum, dass er nicht online zocken kann. :P
  22. Habe mein Posting editiert und mich klarer ausgedrückt. Nun so ist es aber nicht und das ist bekannt.

Doch, wenn es bekannt ist, dass der Anbieter nichts taugt und dauernd Serverausfälle hat, dann ist IN MEINEN AUGEN der Kunde selbst schuld und braucht sich nicht beschweren, denn damit war zu rechnen. Man informiert sich einfach vorher, und kauft sich das, was seinem eigenen Anspruch genügt. Übertragen auf unser Problem hier: Es ist bekannt, dass seit BS1 (v1.0.1) die lokalisierten Patches eine lange Verzögerung haben und ich habe es hier zu genüge (sodass es mir schon fast peinlich ist) davor gewarnt und geschrieben, dass sich die Leute, die hauptsächlich MP spielen, die englische Version holen sollen! Wer dies nicht getan hat, braucht nicht rumheulen, denn damit war zu rechnen.
  24. In MP it is possible to FAC and communicate between Ka-50 and A-10c by L-L Coordinates. In A-10 you can read the coordinates in the TGP and the Ka-50 can enter the coordinates into the ABRIS. and
