  1. So, it had been a long time since I've seen a crash in DCS. Been flying with no problems until this morning when I was driving to work, this happens! Is this an omen of what is to come?
  2. When I start a flight I have to Left ALT + Enter to get my screen to full view, but then my view from the monitor looks stretched... Is there a setting to make my full screen view not be stretched like that? A file I might need to edit to get it to not be stretched when I left ALT + Enter? The reason being is that.. I like to record my flight out of VR in full screen VS. side by side screens in VR. I record my full flight in cockpit using full screen, then I edit the track to get the outside views I want of the same flight... then I record the outside views track.. and edit my cockpit views into a new movie with the chosen outside views.. A lot of work... Is there an easier way to record single screen without a stretched movie when doing a flight..? Normally I have to rerun the flight track with my Oculus off that way I have no stretched monitor, but then my in cockpit recording would have to be done with the hat switch on my joystick.. which is not a good way to record cockpit footage..
  3. I did the same thing, but is there a way to record with a single view? It makes people sick when viewing using a VR headset as the view moves for them and they have no control of it..
  4. Thank you... this helped me our to getting my DCS 2.0 back to before the latest update, which had all but broke my DCS game play. Awesome piece of software... You can launch DCS with or without Oculus with a simple selection. You can install and uninstall modules with ease.
  5. Do you have the same problem though? Desktop plays the game in a vertical sliver of the screen, not in full screen?
  6. Oculus question For the life of me I can't get DCS to play full screen on my desktop as I'm flying with my Oculus. I've been trying to record my flight in real time, unedited using Nvidia's GeForce Experience, but my desktop screen if not full. I've tried everything to make it full screen but no luck. Does anyone have the fix for this?
  7. I bought Oculus last Saturday, knowing that my system fell just below the minimum required specs. I had decided that if it didn't run I would upgrade the card.. Well, I run DCS World 2.0 with no problems. Smooth as silk. My specs at the moment are Processor Intel Core™ i5-4690K ASUS Z97-K -- 2x PCIe x16, 4x USB 3.0, 2x USB 2.0 Memory 8 GB [4 GB x2] DDR3-2133 G.SKILL RipjawsX. Video Card AMD Radeon R9 285 2GB - Single Card Power Supply 850 Watt Processor Cooling Asetek 510LC Liquid CPU Cooling System [sOCKET-1150] - Standard 120mm Fan I was surprised it even ran at all...
  8. I was able to update DCS World 1.5 and install the Mirage 2000 on it, but I can't install it on DCS W2... am I doing something wrong? Found my problem...
  9. Thanks for a quick reply.. added reputable points!
  10. So I just upgraded to a new and faster computer that can run DCS.. I just finished downloading DCS.. I finished re-downloading FC3... I also bought several modules... Should I instal in sequence, say... DCS, then FC3 and then the modules... or does it not matter what order I install my games?
  11. Ok, I found it under licensing... my bad. My apologies to everyone. So, it shows it is still activated. I'm about to receive a new computer with all the bells and whistles needed to run DCS and I was just trying to find my serial # and such. Found my error. Got everything squared away.. Thanks guys!
