  1. You fucken legend. Thanks mang. I've got FC3, so likely already have the manuals on hand.
  2. Feel like a dummy, I've got no issues sourcing and installing mods such as the ones mentioned in the title, and I can figure out enough to get the F-22 off the ground for example, but where would I go to find a flight manual or some other learning resource for these custom mods? I have NO IDEA how to use the F-22 radar, or what the FCS does in minutiae, for example. These mods don't tend to come with training missions (that I've seen). So what am I missing, besides thousands of hours of trial and error in the cockpit? I haven't even bothered looking at the F-35 or the SU-57. I like to read about the aircraft and their systems before I stick myself in the cockpit usually, it worked for me with the KA-50 and the A-10C, and I'm currently ploughing through the F-14 manual, but even though I've got mods like the F22 and the F-35, I have no idea how to learn about them in the limited detail available regarding what systems each aircraft has. TL:DR; Do I just youtube how to fly/operate custom mods? Is there some central learning resource most DCSers use for these kinds of mods?
  3. Hi guys, I've got a few modules, ka-50, a-10c, a-10c ii, f-14 etc etc, and a couple of controllers (vkb evo and a twcs). When doing my keybinding/mapping of controls, do I select each aircraft, do my mapping, and save into a separate profile for each aircraft, OR can I sit there and do my mapping for all my modules via selecting the aircraft in the upper left and then saving all my bindings for all my aircraft in one big profile file? Sounds like a stupid question, I know.
  4. Well, if you liked Top Gun, perhaps you'll like Sky Fighters. It's a french film, recently made. Features Mirages. It's not bad for a propaganda aviation movie. I enjoyed it. IMDB Link:
  5. Hmm, I kept getting caught in the Vortex Ring all the time, until I watched the training video on Transitions. If going into a hover from forwards flight, always ensure that your rate of descent never exceeds 3m/s. Simple as that. Once I knew that, and eagle-eye the descent-meter all the time, I've never plummeted out of the sky, unless it's from a AA missile. I apply that same rule to descending during a hover too. Never faster than 3m/s. It may or may not be the combat tested way to go about it, but this little tip has served me well thus far.
  6. I know this is wrong, but yeah, unguided = rockets and guided = missiles. Thats how we do it anyway.
  7. Haha, klinkeye spends most of his time shaking the airframe apart at 280kmh+ Seeya ingame, klink. ;)
  8. Interesting. I bought DCS-BS off the website, digitally downloaded, English Version. Mine already has Russian voice overs, with an english speaking betty.
  9. Yeah, I get the same bug where after I spool up an engine, then close the canopy door to quieten it, the next engine to fire up is at full noise. A quick open and close of the canopy door again fixes it. (CTRL+C)
