I was there but I missed him , but I managed to seat in the MiG-29SMT and MiG-31BM cockpits :thumbup: I used a Canon 7D with a 24-105mm for the static , and the good old 100-400mm for the flight display.And you ?

Thanks all for the warm comments. I've just noticed that the Pantsir is on the vacant models list , now that I have the high-poly ready , retopologizing it along with normal/bump maps would not be that hard.The Pantsir is a very effective modern SAM system , and would find its place in the game.A couple close-ups :

Hey Der_Peiper , nice to see you here too! Thanks for the explanation , let's hope it will enlighten some "smart" minds here. You obviously don't know what you are talking about , it is weird to hear this from a Mil-Mesh member ....of course we don't see you often there. No money , no fancy books and no factory drawings , just loads of pictures,an eye for the details and a level of skills you can't even dream about. So for you dedication,hard work and hundreds of hours searching for references , modeling , rendering , texturing and compositing is for money? Would you believe that this beast was rendered on a 3 years old Phenom II? Thank you !
