omg... thx for taking the time to explain all that. i'm too much of a noob to mess with files like that so i guess i'll wait for the updated a10 download version and download that again.... i'll report back when i tried that. many thanks again!

ok.... so i went to download all 5 parts of dcs world from their website only to realise the #2 part was corrupted/didn't download. it did work out through their torrent link, though. i have an updated version of dcs world now on my pc. i already downloaded the a10c module from their site, too. but this now won't install either. i can't find another installer. my a10c version is 1.2.5.16184.220_226.exe now what??? this is getting more and more confusing. their compatibility of hard copy and download content is just crazy complicated to sort out......

thanks, i've located the folder. not sure i understand this, though: i did indeed download dcsw from steam. are you saying i should download it from the dcs main site instead? i'll try that anyway. thanks all for being so helpful!

cheers so i downloaded the a10c. but now i can't install it anywhere. i get a pop up info that dcs world must be installed which it is. "DCS World 1.2.5.16184 must be installed" i checked and i do have this dcs world version. seems like dcs world isn't recognising the a10c install??? i'm a bit confused. thanks again for your help.

Adding A10C to DCS World hi i own a10c as hardcopy, downloaded dcs world but it doesn't recognise it and i cannot figure out how to add the a10c to dcs world. can anyone help me out here? much appreciated

ok. i checked and the z-axis is mapped to the collective by default. but in sim mode i don't see any movement of the blades and when flying the slider doesn't affect the chopper in any way. the only thing i can do to raise or drop is using the throttle (default page up/down). i'm somewhat confused, i have to say.

hi i'm having a problem configuring throttle in sim mode of black shark. i run vista, have a saitek st290pro stick and an updated driver, throttle runs fine in arcade mode (and any other game) but not in sim mode. the axis option is greyed out and i can't figure out how to get around that. help is appreciated. thx blueskunk
