First of all, thank you for the quick reply! :) I've just found out the problem...depth of field...if I turn it off I'm steady on 60FPS on external view too...with depth of field on, no matter if simple or boke, (what's the difference???) my FPS goes very low...it's such a shame!!! That effects is my preferred one...makes all the scene such more realistic! Cpu clock is 3,6 GHZ

Hi everybody! Hope my question stick with the thread (instead of start a new one!). I'm pretty new about DCS World...I was using to play the very first LOMAC ages ago! :D I'd like to ask you this guys… My rig is I7 5820 K 32 GB Ram DDR4 RTX 2080 Ti I've no problem in playing 4K native with all the settings on HIGH...I'm on 60 FPS rock solid with the cockpit view (FPS stuck to 60 coz I'm playing on TV Oled...if I turn the Vsync off can easily rich 120 FPS). Problem is when I want to switch to the external views F2-F3-F4...wheneve I try to enjoy some very good views and textures, FPS drops drammaticaly under 30...it's like a punch in the eye...I've tried to mess around lowing some settings (trees, shadows, grass, motion blur etc)...nothing seems to help. So I know my CPU is old (2015) but I was wondering if it's just a bottleneck or there's some settings I'm missing...or also is the game that it's very heavy on that views...thank you in advance for any hint! :)

Hi everybody, i've a problem with my saitek X45. I've downloaded the driver and the software for windows vista 64 and when i try to create a profile with the saitek editor simply it doesn't work...i set all the buttons but it they doesn't work in microsoft word either...anyone can help me please? P.S. another thing...when i try to set the angle of view from the options panel, everytime i run a mission, the angle of view is still 10 as default...is this a bug? EDIT: Problem solved reinstalling drivers...what about the angle of view??

Same problem here...windows 7 64 bit...here is what i do: 1: Install Lock on 2: Install Lock on Flaming Cliffs 3: Run Flaming Cliffs 4: Got the SF window that says SF has been installed correctly and ask to reebot 5: I don't reboot, i apply the SF driver update...it ask to reboot 6: I reebot but when windows starts i got the message on the icon try that says SF drivers have been blocked due to incompatibility with the operating system...what can i do???? P.S. I've bought Lock on and LO Flaming Cliffs both in cd version from lockon.co.uk wich patch do i need? And when i have to install it? Do I need to upgrade lock on to 1.02 before install flaming cliffs? If yes where i can find the right patch???? Thank you in advance!!

First of all thank you! :) Then...I've downloaded the driver update from here: http://www.star-force.com/support/drivers/ (i suppose the version is before 5.5) Then installed Lock on, then Fliming Cliffs, then i try to run it and the starforce windows told me "ok starforce protection installed, restart your computer". So at this i've lunched the driver update and got the message "protect driver updated" and tell me to restart the computer. At this point i reboot the system but i got the message on the icon tray that the starforce drive as been blocked due to incompatibility withi this version of windows...so if i try to run lock on it install the starforce drive again and ask me to reboot...and here the story starts again!!! Where i am wrong??? :helpsmilie:

Just wondering if the stupid starforce will ever works with windows7...
