Hello... I'm working on a mission in the editor and i want my wingman to bomb a number of buildings but i'm having trouble getting this to work. - i tried a triggered action for our group (player + wingman) in wich i put the building i want bombed as a TARGET UNIT, STATIC and to have the trigger activated by a F10 radio command...When i use the F10 radio command the only thing my wingman does is to follow me as part of the formation...(like he should i guess...waiting for me...the lead to do something). - I then tried the WINGMAN radio options to ATTACK GROUND TARGETS hoping he would priorities that building...but no...he attacked other targets of oppertunity... - I tried to have my 'wingman' in an other flight (2-1) and then the triggered target worked fine but i could not get him to join my formation... Does anyone have a good solution for this problem... Help apprisiated !

Good point ! One thing you could do is to use a FLAG in a counter function to also limit the number of times the player will be able to request a flare..(i guess they have a limited supply of thoose) and have a different answer each time... example... If Jaguar 1-1 has 3 flares avaliable: - player request fire flare 1st time. radio mess..."copy...Jaguar 1-1 firing green flare" - player request fire flare 2nd time. radio mess..."copy...firing flare again. Be adviced..we only have one flare left" - player request fire flare 3rd time. radio mess..."copy ! firing last flare.." after flare 3 have been fired you remove that radio item from the F10 menu...No more flares ! This is just a suggestion...It might still get a bit annoying if the player request fire flare many times in a short time period though... again...good mission ! :pilotfly:

Hello...:) I have played your mission and it is a fine one... - Like Jeffyd123 i like your airfield setup. - Nice sundown mission. - good use of infantry moving through the village. I had no problem with TRG 1 and 2 and i got the mess to contact JTAC when i reached the IP waypoint and that worked fine...I got coordinates right on top of that infantry group and took them out with rockets. When Jaguar moved out again I lost track of them...Got the message about the IFVs and contacted JTAC again (worked fine)...Then i messed something up and it took me quite some time to get thoose coordinates into the CDU ( my fault). When i finally did i could not find the IFVs...I did find Jaguar outside an other building (LN 1591769033) ...building two i think...I tried to contact JTAC again and he answered but did not have any targets for me (no IFVs). I will try this mission again and try not to mess up. The flare function was working for me...no problem Some small suggestions so far...: - Put the F16s on a frequency the player can hear (134 AM or 30 FM or give them a freuency of their own and put that in the briefing). - Have Jagaur give a confirmation message when they fire the flare. - I found a small typo in the second target destroyed mess from Eye 1 "EYE 1 OU" should be EYE 1 OUT" i guess... All in all a good first mission and i'm looking forward to your next one :thumbup: Regards Repsol

hello... I have updated mission 1 and 2 Both missions have the following improvments: - I have recieved help from a friendly member on this forum to add a squelch-sound before each radio message to alert the player to an incomming message. The same member has corrected my english. - I have added a feature to minimze the risk of messages overlaping each other. The leader: - the bug with the JTAC should be fixed A meeting not well met: - The enemy is more likely to fire at Hitman 1 - Improved the radio messages to make them easier to read. - The bug with hitman getting stuck at Medev fixed. - Changed to correct airfield in the briefing. - You will not loose the SADL hook of Hitman in Al Berediva -

Hello, WillyWonka Yes i totally agree with you. That would be VERY nice but i have not found a good way to make that work yet...sorry. When i do i will most likely add that feature to the missions. That would make them much better...I agree with you... Regards Repsol. -

Glad you liked it, ORboarder... I would suggest you wait to play mission 2 "the leader"... It has a small bug at the end with the JTAC.. I'm working on a V2 version that hopefully will be uploaded here during the weekend that fix that problem... V2 for mission 1 and a new mission (3) will also be uploaded during the weekend i hope... Things are taking a little longer then expected.. -

Hello, Mauser55 Your big city idea is something i have thought about also and i will probably try do a mission like that...It will not be the next mission (no.3...finished but needs some testing) or mission 4. Perhaps after thoose i will give it a try... -

Hello, Mauser55. Thank you for thoose kind words...I think i have found the poroblem with my computer. It seems that some outdated drivers in my operating system was causing the problem. After updating thoose everything is working again...Lets hope it stays that way. If the problem does not return i will have mission 3 and updated versions of mission 1 and 2 (reported bugs fixed and some other improvments made) uploaded here during the weekend or sometime next week. -

Hello... I jus tthought i would let you know... I'm having some problem with my computer...since yesterday it hangs and freezes completally only a few seconds after i open the mission editor....:( This only happens with the editor...I can play the game and watch videos with no problem and also play all other games...The only time this problem occurs is when i open the editor in DCS Warthog... Until i can make this work again...missiondesigning is a 'no go'... To bad...Mission 3 is almost finished and i have updated versions of mission 1 and 2 almost ready...I just don't understand what is causing this problem... -

Yes...i understand that was annoying (when you had no chans to kill that SAM)...Not the way to end a 1 hour mission...I'm will try to fix this... The JTAC should offcourse give you the coordinates...I will upload a corrected version shortely -

Hello, luckystrikes... The JTAC usually works but the same thing happened to me to yesterday when testing some minor update ideas...I will try to find the problem...I think i have narrowed it down to that this only happens if the SAM has fired of all its missiles (4)...when playtesting sometimes the SAM would fire at me and sometime i would not but the JTAC alway found it...but it seems like he does not see the SAM as a threat/target if all the missiles are fired...I'm working on the problem and will try to fix it. You did nothing wrong...Sorry for the problem (mission was completed...The SAM is the last threat to a succesful mission)... Thanks for reporting... -
hello again... For thoose of you that might have watched this demo....That first one was not very exiting (just to show basic idea). I have uploaded a 'mission style' use of this trigger-setup twelve 2S3 "Akatsia" self-propelled gun/howitzers shelling a village. Firing 5 rounds each... Very easy to do and only using few triggers... If you want a barrage in your mission building...have a look...This works fine i feel

I forgott to mention... You can use any type of trigger to start the barrage...TIME, UNIT IN ZONE, F10 RADIO or whatever...you only need to set FLAG 1and FLAG 2 to ON

Hello all... I have designed a triggersetup for an ARTILLER BARRAGE in wich you can: - Change caliber of the guns - Choose number of guns fireing - Choose barrage pattern - Choose delaytime between salvos - Choose timing between individual hits of the same salvo I don't know if something like this already exist of if you even find it very useful... If this sound good...please feel free to download the file belove... When playing the mission let it run for 3 minutes to get a feel for what you can do... MY ATTEMPT TO DO A MANUAL: :smilewink: TO CHANGE THE CALIBER OF THE WEAPONS: - Change the explotion-size SET THE NUMBER OF GUNS DOING THE BARRAGE: - Use more or less triggerzones (u may ofcourse use the same triggerzone for multiple hits in the same salvo if you wish). CHOOSE BARRAGE PATTERN: - change the placement of the triggerzones CHANGE THE TIME BETWEEN SALVOS: - Increase or reduce the the FLAG 2 value in CONDITION column of the first BLOW TRIGGERZONE trigger. CHANGE THE TIME BETWEEN INDIVIDUAL HITS IN THE SAME SALVO: - Change the value of FLAG 2 in the CONDITION column of BLOW TRIGGERZONE TWO, BLOW TRIGGERZONE THREE...etc. for all remaining blow triggerzones after the first one... Set the value of FLAG 2 in the CONDITON column of the "run one more salvo" trigger to the same as the last BLOW TRIGGER ZONE flag 2 value in that triggers CONDITION column. I decided to restart this missionmaking and do a NEW mission in the editor exactly the same as the last one to see what happened... Now the rearming and DSMS page work just fine ?!? I don't know why it works this time but i'm glad it does...:) BIGNEWY...Thanks for your help !

VERY STRANGE ! I tried to change the initial loadout that i have when i start in the air... I could not do it !??! All other weapon loadout (default and other custom made by me) gave the same result as trying to rearm on the ground- RED BOXES on the WEAPONSTATIONS...Only this time this happened as soon as the mission started (in the air)... Changed back to my CUSTOM one with the TARGETPOD, JAMMERPOD and SIDEWINDER and the DSMS page showed a correct page ?? What have i done now ? :doh:

ooops...missed your last post... In the air i have made a custom loadout with only the targetpod, jammerpod and sidewinders... To be able to make this mission the way i want it i will need atleast the targetpod loaded at mission start

Did an other test...Waited for all the * to return... Same result i'm afraid...I also tried to LOAD ALL...No difference. I will change to have a default loadout in the air and see if that work better...

Hello again... Ok...i might have missed that when making this track (sorry) but i'm quite sure i did wait for that thoose * with my previous atempts...I will test again to make sure i do what you said. Thanks for helping !
