Hello BIGNEWY Yes...I do just like that...The only difference is that i don't have DSMS page selected before i changed to the LOAD page and hit OSB 'load DSMS'...I have the TAD page open (that could not make any difference...could it ?) I have read in some earlier theads on this topic that things could get messed up if you have a CUSTOM loadout to start with...(i have made a custom payload with no weapons and only the pods and wants to reload with a MIXED payload onced back on the ground) Is that still the case with the latest version of the game thanks for your reply
  5. Hello.. I have tried to use the search function to find an answer to this but i have not found any working solution to my problem... With the latest version of this game does the LOAD DSMS from the LOAD screen work as intended ? I have a mission where you start in the air with depleted stores and only have your jammer- and targeingtpod under the wings... I land and rearm without any problem but when trying to load the new DSMS info from the loadscreen all i get on the DSMS page is red boxes on the weapon stations... Am i doing something wrong ? dsms problem.trk
  6. Yes...That was the problem but with the RAMP start version uploadedthat should not be happening anymore... I hope you will have no more problem with this mission. Good hunting !
  7. Hello Wojasos..BIG thanks !!! I must have made a stupid misstake when uploading that mission and choosen a test version and not the finished one... This mission SHOULD have RAMP START.... I have uploaded a rampstart version now...SORRY Kaitsu and all others...
  8. Hello, Kaitsu... Thanks for reporting...I will look into this. The first question that comes to mind is: Do you USE automatic START-UP at the RAMP or have you changed to START FROM RUNWAY ? This has never happened to me while testing this mission...HITMAN 1-1 will have to have arrived and stopped at MEDEV before you call ON STATION...In my testings they always do...I have not tested with AUTOMATIC startup though. My guess of what's causing this problem is that you (if using AUTOMATIC STARTUP) arrive to early over MEDEV (before HITMAN 1-1 are there and waiting)...The timings in this mission may need to be tweaked a bit...AUTOMATIC STARTUP should offcourse be working to... Can you please confirm for me what the GAME TIME is when you CALL ON STATION ? Thanks !
  9. Thanks, Wojasos...:) trying to get the missions to be immersive is a high priority when making theese... One downside to adding this much communications i fear is that it might interfear with your flying if you have to read through the messages when you got other things to do...(delivering firepower on the targets for example)... On the upside i feel it makes the missions feel more 'lived in' and add to the feeling that you are actually playing a part in something... I'm not sure about what others think ? if a got the balance right ?
  10. Hello... I could not edit the headline in my last mission thread ' a meeting not well met ' so i started this new one and will post future missions here... I have plans to do maybe 5 missions to be played one after the other with the same storyline...The missions are not put together in a real working campaign as such...i hope this will be acceptable...i have alot left to learn with the editor. I posted my first mission a few weeks ago "a meeting not well met" in a previous thread and i will include it here also...Today i finished my second mission of the ´campaign´... "The leader" My basic plan with this capaign is to make fairly simple missions with not that very many units to allow for good FPS and the difficulty level will be somewhere between EASY and MEDIUM i think... I hope you will like it...comments are welcom (good or bad). The campaign is purly fictional and will focus on anti-talibani style missions and not any big force on force engagments with frontline units...In some missions you will be the only A10 in the air and in some you will have a wingman but no mission will have entire strike packages..My thinking with this is to make it fairly simple to understand and as mentioned before...good FPS. The name "Krasnodar hitmen" comes from...Krasnodar is your home base and the friendly groundforces operating in this area very much appriciate your units assistans and have given you the nickname "KRASNODAR HITMEN". "A meeting not well met" ---------------------------- - In this mission you will provide air support to a platoon of recon marines in humvees sent out to hold a meeting with some local leaders to discuss the current situation in the area. "the leader" -------------- - This is a night mission. You will provide air support during a rescuemission to free an imprissoned leader. "The bombdoctor" ---------------------- - This mission takes place in the early morning. You start the mission in the air and you're on your way back to base after a long nightmission. Events taking place on the ground will however see to it that you will not get any sleep just yet...Duty calls once again... OOh..i almost forgot...You will have to use COM.MENU F10 in most missions to communicate with frienlies... Good luck !   12. Hello :) Not really a problem...Just seems somewhat strange to me.. why does the DAY setting for the HUD work better with NVGs than the NIGHT setting does. Should that not be the other way around ? With the DAY setting i don't have to gain down the NVGs and dim down the HUD as much to get a sharp hud display as i do with NIGHT mode on..

Yes thats what i suspected to be the case...I just thought that if you could hear the aircraft and point the weapon in that general direction you would be able to pick up a heat source from it and engage it. Not the case though... Thats ok...I will use some other enemy units to pose a threath to my night flying. Thanks guys

  17. Hello.. I'm currently working on a night mission. As part of the anti-aircraft threat i would like to include some MANPADS but i can not make them open fire on me. Do they not work in the dark ? Time is 23.00 :pilotfly:

  20. Hello, Eddie... I'm sorry...I'm verymuch a newbie with the editor...where do you find that ? Do you mean that i should not choose the DISPERSAL UNDER FIRE selection in the ADVANCED (WAYPOINT ACTION) - SET OPTION menu... Or do you mean something else...
  21. Hello... Is it possible to make AI-units not disperse when fired upon... As far as i have seen most AI-unit will halt, move of in an other direction other than their waypoints or spread out when taking fire... Is it possible to make them press on towards their objective as planed even when being fired upon and taking casualties. This would be good to be able to simulate more highly trained- or fanatic enemies... I know of the DISPERSE UNDER FIRE option in the ROE selection but i see no DO NOT disperse... Can this be done... Help appriciated...Thanks !

  23. Hello, all I have finished the first 'complete mission' i have made in the editor. Prior to this i have only made simple targetpractice missions. This one is a CAS mission...You will provide support to a platoon of marines traveling in humvees sent out to meet local leaders and discuss the current situation in the area. I have tried to keep this fairly simple to allow for good FPS even on computers that are not top of the line. You are the only aircraft in the area and there are no more units on the airfields other than the default ones... The mission is however not uneventful...Once you get ON STATION you will have things to do.. There are no random events but things will play out a bit diffrently dependent on what weapons you use and sometimes if you don't manage to kill assigned targets in time that will have consequences... You will need to know how to make a waypoint out off coordinates given to you by groundunits and you will need to use the coms.menu F10 to communicate with the groundtroops.. I guess the difficulty level would be somewere between easy and medium. You will be fire upon but not by any top of the line SAM systems and you will need to be able to aquire targets rather quickly. I have played this mission through a number of times and have not found any bugs...everything seems to work. I hope some of you will enjoy it...Good hunting ! A meeting not well met.miz

Thoose are good tips...I try and do the same but in this first mission atleast i sort of lost track of my flags...(not having written them down on list)...With more experince i'm sure i will be able to handle them without to much problem...   25. Hello... Up until now i have only used the missioneditor to make simple targeting practice missions but i'm currently working on my first 'complete' mission. It's great fun but this being my first mission i feel i made a couple off misstakes. The biggest one beeing not to have writtien down an' easy to follow' list of all my flags. It gets a bit tricky to keep track of them all. This got me thinking...If only there was a search function in the editor to let me find ALL TRIGGERS that had anything to do with a certan FLAG, or UNIT, GROUP or TRIGGERZONE. That would make bugghunting a bit easier i feel... SEARCH - FLAG..................(number) ----------UNIT..................(number) ----------GROUP................(name) ----------TRIGGERZONE......(name) Example... If i use the pulldown menu and choose SEARCH UNIT(and enter the unit nr...for example 25) Then the editor would list all TRIGGERS that has anything to do with UNIT 25 Maybe this is a totaly unnessesary suggestion but if it could be easily added to the editor...Why not...
