  1. for 399€ they might as well include a complementary copy of DCS: A-10C Warthog. If graphics card come with a full version of a game, why not a HOTAS :)
  2. Hi Guys, currently i got this configuration: 30" 2560x1600 as main. 22" 1680x1050 to the left of the main screen, left half of it taken up by ABRIS, right upper quarter SHKVAL, bottom left quarter camera, with the same showing as the main screen. my question now would be: is it possible to have a second camera independent of the main one? i would like to be able to switch views on the main screen, and still be able to have a cockpit view in that small bottom left quarter screen. Viewports = { Left = { x = 840; y = 1075; width = 840; height = 525; viewDx = 0; viewDy = 0; aspect = 1.6; }, Center = { x = 1680; y = 0; width = 2560; height = 1600; viewDx = 0; viewDy = 0; aspect = 1.6; } } Shkval = { x = 840; y = 550; width = 840; height = 525; } ABRIS = { x = 0; y = 550; width = 840; height = 1050; } as i moved the left screen via the ati control center to lin eup with the bottom of my main screen, i had to use that y-offset with 550 pixels, since in that area there is absolutely no screen :-) options.lua includes a shadow screen to the "right" ["resolution"] = "5920x1600" thanks for any replies :smilewink:
  3. Win7 64 ultimate here (the ultimate, because i will work from home occasionally, and the extra XP-License for VirtualPC, where all the work stuff will be installed, seemed a good bonus to me), otherwise the home premium would have been 'enough'. apart from a few old games not installable (probably requiring more effort than just starting in compability mode) i am quite happy with it. Together with the new core i7-920 DCS:BS works like a charm now (only replayed some of the demo-tracks), even though i kept the old graphics (ATI 4850). My old X2 4200+ had troubles working 1680x1050, and now 2560x1600 looks fine:thumbup:
  4. thats a great help!! thank you very much, danke schön!
  5. you have to allow for the pilot to look a bit cheesy when being catapulted out of the heli;)
  6. after installing the 1.01 patch, the phantom monitor isnt necessary anymore. fullscreen still doesnt work for me with winxp.
  7. you might try setting the screen to the needed resolution, even if the screen itself doesnt support that. either it interpolates and scales down, or you get a scrollable window, depending on the auto-fit-settings in the screen itself. depending on how close the original resolution to your needed 1280X1024 is, it might still be readable. I Dont know how well that works with fullscreen though. other than that, i use winXP and managed to set DCS to use both my 1680x1050 screen, as well as a secondary screen with 1024x768. It required manuel fiddling with the settings, and starting dcs in window mode, not full screen. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=613488&postcount=7 http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=42862&highlight=dual+monitor
