  1. I compared the triggers and you are correct that in the main campaign mission UZI has 127.5 set as the frequency. I'll do some testing and update both to make sure they align with the briefing docs.

Sounds like you got all the targets so not sure why it didn't indicate a success for you.  If the extraction is successful then the mission should be a pass.

If you can post a .trk file of your flight we can review it.

Thanks for reporting these issues.  We have dozens of missions and can't test them all with each release but will work to fix issues when they are reported.

  2. The correct frequency to use with UZI is TAD 12 (124) when talking to the UZI AFAC.

I think ED changed the default helo frequency to 127.5 at one point so we used that in the Mission Data card as a reference for the helo pilot with 124 being the frequency for the AFAC.

Both missions should match so we will check and correct them.  If you use 124 for the AFAC it should work as expected.

  3. I retested the TAC11 mission in the latest game engine version and had no problems with contacting UZI or killing the targets as expected.  In some cases UZI did provide lasing but other times it was a TYPE 3 Attack so I self lased and everything worked as expected.

Unfortunately it looks like ED introduced a game engine bug on the 3rd JTAC (Hammer 1-1).  It shows up as Scout HWWV  in the drop down menu and won't respond to the radio calls on 31.0 MHZ FM.

I recommend skipping this mission for now and we will see if ED corrects it in the next patch.

I suspect TAC12 has a similar issue (since the units and triggers are the similar) but I'll test that next to see if I get the same result.

  4. The mark point gets created where the TGP is pointing so it would be the ground reference either at the target or beside it if you are not on the target itself.

UZI is an FAC flying in a KIOWA so it's possible that he can't mark the target continuously.

The JTAC grid references are just that so it's unlikely they would be exactly at the target itself but gives you a reference area to locate the target.  If they can lase the target then it is a more accurate reference but as you indicate sometimes they cannot.  If you call CONTACT once you have the TGP locked on a target the JTAC will confirm if it's the correct target or not.

  5. Your procedure looks correct and it's good that you can contact UZI.  There is a 10 SECONDS call you can use to inform the JTAC that you will ask for the LASER ON call within 10 seconds.  Not sure if that has any specific implementation in the game but it's more true to SOP.

We were able to contact UZI as well in our test with using our mic switches on the throttle so I don't think that is broken.  Unfortunately we had to abort our test before we could confirm the lgb drop but I do recall the JTAC does have a time limit for lasing (so as not to burn out the laser). Will check that in our next test.

I recommend you try to have him lase when you are close to the target area (within 30 to 60 seconds of dropping).  I know lasers on the TGP have a 2 minute burn out time so I suspect the JTAC may be similar.

The other option is that once you have confirmed the target you could set a mark point then do your LGB drop using your own laser on the TGP.  You don't need to use the JTAC's laser if you can kill the target yourself.

The mission only cares that the targets are eliminated but it's best to follow the JTAC recommendations for an accurate experience.

Let us know how you make out.

  6. Thanks for reporting the issue.

Are you patched to the latest version and do you have any MODS installed?  Does it happen in the practice campaign mission too?

Check to make sure you have the radios tuned to the correct frequency and using the correct radio when making the JTAC calls.

The time spent flying to the range has detailed dialogue to explain each mission but you should know some basics like how to contact the JTAC through the F10 menu.

Please post a trk file if you manage to reproduce it.  We will retest to see if any recent game changes have impacted the JTAC functionality.

  7. The first mission is an arrival mission (so you are in the C-130 landing at Nellis).  This is to set some background to the campaign so there is no actual flying in the first mission.

The 2nd mission is a Familiarization flight so it should start you in the FA-18C and all subsequent missions should also start you in the FA-18C.

Do you have any mods installed?  Have you tried a DCS Repair? Is the FA-18C module installed and activated?

Hopefully the answers to those questions will get us to the issue.  Please report what you find out.

    Thanks.

  8. Sorry you are having trouble.

There is extensive documentation located in the campaign docs folder depending on your install.

    For example: <drive letter>:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\campaigns\F-15C Aggressors ACM\Doc

Once the mission loads, if you select the mission planner you will see the flight route and waypoints to and from the engagement area.  Waypoint 10 - INDIA is the rendezvous point to initiate the start of the engagements.  During the engagements you can ignore the waypoints but return to waypoint 10 - INDIA to start the next engagement.

The AI F-15C flying close formation is the Red Force Controller who will be monitoring your comms and attack techniques.  He will stay in formation until you get to the range then rejoin you again once the exercises are completed.

Once you take off, follow the waypoints as indicated and instructions will be provided as you get close to the range.

You can use the F10 Radio Menu to issue orders, view NAV information and communicate status.

Let us know if you have further questions or any issues.

    Thanks.

  9. Last time we flew it it was challenging but doable.  As I recall we used a crab landing into the wind while maintaining alignment with the runway and straightened out at the last second before touchdown.

Will retest to see if the weather effects have changed and we will tweak them to reduce the effect if we can.

  10. We haven't made any recent changes to the code so do you have any Mods installed?  Like Viacom or any others as it's been shown that mods can mess up triggers at times. Please try again on a clean version if you do.

If not, try a DCS Repair.  We have seen in the past that sometimes the install gets corrupted for whatever reason and a repair usually corrects it.

We will also retest the mission to confirm something hasn't changed in the game engine and will fix it if it has.

  11.

The F-15C Aggressors ACM campaign puts you in the cockpit of an F-15C Eagle, as a new Aggressor pilot with the 65th Aggressor Squadron at Nellis Air Force Base.
Based on real world procedures you will fly as Red Air against Blue Air Forces.
You will face a series of challenging Air Combat Maneuver (ACM) missions against dis-similar aircraft with a wingman for assistance.
Each mission will comprise two - 2 vs 2 air to air engagements. Tankers are available if you wish to refuel before the second engagement.
    Your opponents include the F-4E, F-14A, F-15C, F-15E, F-16C, F/A-18C, M-2000C, MiG-29G, CF-188, MiG-21, Su-27 and an unknown type.
Additionally there is an 11 mission practice campaign against the Ace AI with in-air starts so you can perfect your ACM tactics and techniques.
There are over 1800 voice overs and 49 pages of briefing material including the RED FLAG Spins, Red Forces In Flight Guide, Maps, Diagrams, Custom Kneeboards and Mission Data cards.
You will need DCS 2.9 or later, the F-15C Module or Flaming Cliffs 3 Module and the NTTR Map Module for this campaign.

  12. Thanks for letting us know!  We will retest and make any updates required to fix them.  Glad you are enjoying the campaigns.

We were able to reproduce the bug in the latest close beta instance so will work on a fix for the next patch release.

Fix has been developed and tested and sent to ED to be included in the next patch release.

Files are in the repo and should be in the next patch release.

  13. Thanks for asking.

We have completed the F-15C Aggressors ACM campaign and all files have been sent to ED for review / release.  Sorry I don't have any ETA yet but will post to the forums when it is known.

We are getting close to completing the F-5E Aggressors Red Flag 88-3 campaign.  Documentation, teaser trailer and most of the campaign development is completed.  We are now doing final campaign testing, capturing screenshots and developing the cover art.

Similar story for the F-15C Basic Flight Training qualification campaign.  Documentation, teaser trailer and most of the campaign development is completed.  Just need to finish final campaign testing, screenshot capture and cover art.

We also continue to support all existing campaigns with respect to AI and game engine changes and will continue to do so.

The last few years have been challenging for us with respect to the pandemic and other personal issues getting in the way but that is now behind us so hopefully we can get to a better campaign release schedule with more new content planned and released this year and every year going forward.

As ED continues to add exciting new modules we will continue to evaluate our campaign plans to align.

Thanks for your continued interest and support!

  14. The title and description are pretty clear IMO:

A-10C / A-10C II Basic Flight Training Qualification Campaigns

The A-10C Basic Flight Training Qualification campaigns put you in the cockpit of an A-10C or A-10C II  Warthog, and tests your ability to fly the aircraft successfully.

Based on real world qualification requirements you will fly 12 performance check rides to execute against pre-defined performance objectives. If successful you will rate a Qualified rating and proceed to the next performance objective.

The DLC package includes a practice campaign with additional dialogue to help pass the Qualification missions.

The expectation is that you have read the manual, flown some of the existing training missions and watched some youtube videos before testing your abilities.

If you want more in depth training then I suggest Baltic Dragons campaign for the A-10C II:
