    Thank you for the quick response!  Actually for me, switching to a different terrain mission is probably the norm, I still think presenting you with the mission list as in the initial behaviour is more logical.

    As I know everyone who has commented on this post is eagerly awaiting an update...🤣
    This morning I decided to do an auto cold start, something I probably haven't done this year, and lo and behold the normal switch sounds were clearly heard (you can imagine my surprise!)  I then changed the mission to a hot start and ran the mission again and yes, the switch sounds have returned.  I KNOW this sounds bizarre and I have no explanation but I'd like to say thanks again to all that contributed.

    I am almost reluctant to admit this but...
    The main reason I could no hear the SOUND TO ALL is because I was listening OUTSIDE of the aircraft and I have COCKPIT SOUNDS ON EXTERNAL VIEWS switched off!

    Ignore this!  Although not being used the Su-30MK_SFM v2.08 Mod was in the MOD/AIRCRAFT folder and was the culprit!

    I assigned a TRANSMIT keybind which brought up the same (looking) COMMS menu as before but this time I received a reply! The same with contacting my wingman!  Many thanks!
    I can assure you however that this has not been necessary in the Viper before 2.9!

    Ok, so I did a search for all .lua files and discovered the offending files and deleted them, as someone suggested the tanks were a different size!
