The other guy has no problem with it. Hes got a full flight set up. This whole time I was using rudder and different wheel brakes. I'll have to look into this button you guys are talking about.

Well, she was laughing about something and I wasn't paying attention to my plane. Sure enough, this happened. Turns out, her mom was yelling at her because when she made popcorn, it made the kitchen smell. Not worth crashing my plane.. but yeah.. Also, I was listening to music while playing and my headset was off. The way the music timed out perfectly was a complete accident.

@pman, I love flying on your server. That's pretty much the only one I fly on as of right now. Any possible way of adding the different skins on the P-51s? Or is there a way to do it that I'm not aware of? I see some people have different colors but for the most part they are that green and brown. Than another question, whats up with the L-39 and F-18? Are those also separate modules?

I'm actually surprised I picked up the start up as fast as I did. I guess it's easy considering how old the plane is.

I am sure we have all watched those seven second videos on Facebook and Youtube called Vines. Some are awesome, some are funny, yet some are extremely stupid. What we dont see is enough of them dealing with video games. That's where we come in. Video Game Vines is a Youtube channel created by a small group of guys who share the passion of gaming and what to bring something back to the communities of the games we play. Right now we have a few videos uploaded. The games that we currently are using are War Thunder, Warframe and Garry's Mod. We are hoping to with in the next week or so, expand that to many more games such as Rise of Flight, Battlefield 4, and Killing Floor just to name a few. I am currently working on a short film that is taking place in a small airport in the 1970s. We are responsible for constructing the whole set from the ground up on a sound stage. Now, my question is, what would a small airport in the 70s have in it? As far as ambient items and room colors go? Bare in mind that I am a 90s kid, but I am sure there's someone here who has some idea on what they were like. No offense meant of course :smilewink:

Hello everyone, I am currently working on a film in school called The Art of Acceptance. It's the story about a guy who comes home after his best friend dies and struggles through the stages of grief. He starts to see his best friend as an astronaut and tries to help him overcome his sorrows. I am sure everyone, whether it be themselves, or someone they know, have all at one point or another, dealt with depression. We can all relate to the main character one way or another. We are currently running a kick-starter for our video. While donations are not at all necessary, and type of money helps. Even if you dont want to donate, just spreading the word around helps a lot. For some reason the pitch on my Saitek X-52 stopped working the other day while I was flying in Arma II. Every other button and axis works, however pitch up and down does not. I went into the stick properties and checked everything, it doesn't work. The Joystick is about 2 years old and is used almost daily. Not sure if there's a way to fix this or if I am in trouble. Any help would be appreciated.

I have looked at the server list and I have seen a lot of unpopulated servers. Does anyone play Flaming Cliffs 2 or did everyone move to 3? I am trying to work on a coop campaign for FC2 and I would love to have some people to play with. Right now its just me and one other guy. If I could get a few more people involved, it could turn out to be something pretty awesome.

I am currently part of a group that uses several video games to create cinematic movies. I was having a discussion the other day with one of the members in regards to old Machinima and how people aren't looking for that stuff any more. As a film student I always have a script for all my longer productions. I currently have 3 scripts written. Two for Lock On, and one for either Arma or BF2. Now, my question to you guys is, what do you guys prefer, would you rather see a Lock On film that's non-scripted and has zero character development or would you rather see a scripted film with several different characters and a story line? Now I fully understand everyone's films have a story to it. I on the other hand am trying to express the story through characters instead of just action. I want to hear everyone's opinion on this matter. You guys are my audience. I am trying to release things you guys would enjoy. However, I feel like my group should bring back the old machinima. Like the days of Red vs Blue and things like that.

I originally did a test to see how it would look with weather, the clouds never moved. So a 24 hour time lapse with non-moving clouds would look extremely unrealistic.

Thanks guys for the helpful responses. I've been working with triggers for a while. Nothing extreme, just adding explosions and messages and stuff like that. I was playing one of the Russian campaigns the other day and messages kept popping up. I want to know how do you do that? As far as flags go, I haven't looked at them. Do you have to set a trigger zone and once someone flies thought it, the message activates? I had it set to 'random' as the trigger set or whatever it was called, that didn't work very well.

Does anyone know of any trigger tutorials? I am trying to create a Co-Op campaign which will contain a lot of triggers. However, I cant seem to find any tutorials on how things work. I googled it and used the search button on this site. Cant seem to find anything. Anyone have anything to help me out? As far as what I am looking for, I am looking for everything trigger related.

Took the first cutscene from Ace Combat 4 and put it into Lock On. Maybe this will form something bigger, I dont know yet. If I can get people to come act that would be awesome.

My Computer C: Users/username/Saved Games/DCS/Tracks/Multiplayer That does not exist on my computer. I am running Flaming Cliffs 2, if that helps at all. I cant locate these tracks nor can I locate any of my custom missions/campaigns. This game hates me lol
