  1. I'm dying a little more on the inside every day ED doesn't announce the new jet. That's all that keeps me sane.
  2. Woah, you seem to hate carrier based aircraft. Is the F-18 really that bad? The superhornet that is.
  3. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE this simulator. However, games like Battlefield, Call Of Duty ect. take a much shorter time to pick up and play for the same amount of enjoyment (depending on the individual, though chances are more people would enjoy the latter more anyway). Which is especially good when work and/or other commitments come in. If you look at it in a way, imagine the time spent devoutly learning DCS to other things, say work or getting a higher education. We're actually less productive :D
  4. F/A-18 C, you say? I'm not the picky sort, I'll take it :P
  5. WHAT?!? It wasn't real? Aww, what am I going to do with the 11.7 million dollars now? :D
  6. There's a lot of love for Skyrim everywhere and I'm surprised. I was quite underwhelmed by the whole plot and wasn't really motivated to do any of the quests. What was that random civilian? Oh? You need help with some menial chore? Sure, saving the world/(insert generic cliché reason here) can wait. This is FAR more important. What was that Jarl? I saved your hide from a dragon and get the privilege to buy a house in your town for the low, low price of 5000? Why thank you! I don't mean to hate on the game. It's okay at best, noting revolutionary or even close. I loved Oblivion, Fallout 3 and New Vegas by the way. Just worried by the direction it's going in. Even the unique lock picking system was replaced by fallout's own system. I'm not even going to get started on the perks.
  7. What's wrong with putting weapons on planes? They are just as fun to fly without the weapons and they are by no means compulsory. If it might entice non-simmers to pick up the DCS series, I'd say that's a win-win scenario. Additionally, military aircraft is good fun to fly and are pretty fast, durable and in some cases manoeuvrable. That's a high performance craft you're looking at. I'll wager most people would rather drive a Lamborghini than a mini-van. Same thing goes for aircraft. Why settle for less? I'm in no way opposed to normal aircraft. You know, the harmless kind ;)
  8. DCS: Speculation As real as it gets. I'm pretty sure the next module is either a F-18, F-16 or F-15. Mark my words
  9. Wait, what? There's been no official announcement yet, right? What information are you privy to?
  10. To Moa: While I like the general idea of what you're saying, we have no idea how many DCS users actually frequent the forums. There is a great deal, perhaps, but a majority in terms of total number of people who bought the product? If so one cannot speak up for their opinions. I do concur with what you have said though.
  11. Wait, does the auxiliary fuel tank refills after a while? I'm surprised that this still happens in modern planes. I thought the fuel injectors changed that. Are all planes like that?
  12. Eh, I'm contemplating getting this but I think the X-52 and Track IR has better value as compared to say, the expensive beast that is the TM Warthog. Is it really that much better than the X-52? Hell, I'm thinking about just sticking to my logitech extreme, just buy a Track IR and forget this madness :joystick:
  13. Do you really want this? 'OMG! Su-25 OP! NERF TEH PLANEZ!'
  14. Damn, you guys are quick. I'm hoping we don't get something of the likes of the F-4 though... I'd very much prefer more modern planes. Not that I wouldn't still buy it however...
