Why would you want it smaller before pressing 'pause'? I think this is normal, as it occurs in mine.....but no problem really, as it pans out after pressing pause, and then use zoom in / out to adjust.

Oh, thanks 'Comrade' Frostie.....that certainly sheds some light on the problem. I'm obviously not going to connect with that address then......I didn't realise. So do the 'Game Servers' that are supporting TS3 normally put their 'TS3' address for all to see....or do I need to look elsewhere? I'm going to have another go now, and see what I get. Thanks again for your reply! Ok.....just been back and had another look.......All has become clear and problem solved. Thanks for your help Frostie......I'm now in the world of TS3.

It's driving me crazy! I just cannot connect to Teamspeak 3. I open up DCS (Warthog or BS2) and choose a server stating it's Teamspeak address. I go and open up Teamspeak from my desktop..click on 'Connect'...then put the address in the box such as xx. xxx. xx. xxx:10308, and I constantly get the 'Error' message....cannot connect. The 'Teamspeak tester address works no problem, and connects straight away. I am new to Teamspeak and want to get into multiplayer with it.....anybody please help....I am so frustrated!

Hi, :helpsmilie: I have just downloaded a new SP mission from the user file section. I am a little surprised it is a .rar file, and i am unsure what to exactly do with it. It's just there sitting in my 'Downloads' file, and I'm just staring at it..:megalol: My question is - how do I get it in my 'missions' folder, and available to select in the simulation. Sorry for being a bit rubbish with all the 'file' type things, but I am always scared i'll mess up what I have...

Thanks Dragan......I know i'm useless, but once i've downloaded it, where should i put it, and open it up? Love BS2, but am not so good at tweaking anywhere away from the standard set up of DCS stuff (got BS2 and A10c...love them both) oops, sorry,.....just read further into the thread, and got my answer.......thanks!

Hotas Warthog : how to program friction
Comrade Vodka replied to Joker73's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
Just a quickie on this thread. My question is 'Where do I find the T.A.R.G.E.T. software? I have installed my TM Hotas, all works well......but I cannot find a 'Thrustmaster' file in my computer>programs> etc. Any help appreciated. -
Roger that!.........Well I will go ahead with all this extra info. Thanks all.
-
Ok...Thanks for info. I am getting a cross over the TDC, so that explains that (although I was not aware what it signified) and thanks for bearing with me as a noobie....just got TM HOTAS a few days ago, and now want to get into this Sim after nearly a year of frustration!...lol
-
Ok, Thanks for this info. I will go forth and try again.

Viper....need your help too. I'm having the same problem......I'm holding TMS Fwd long enough (2-3 Secs), but still cant set the TDC on the HUD to SPI. Also just digressing a little. Where do I find my TM HOTAS T.A.R.G.E.T. software? I read somewhere that it should be in Start>Programs>Thrustmaster>Target. But I do not see any 'Thrustmaster' folder. My TM HOTAS is all installed and working....(except for the aforementioned problem).....any ideas would be appreciated.
-
I'm having exactly the same probs as you. I just cant set the TDC on the HUD as the SPI. It's as if the TMS long is not functioning, but when i check in 'Controls' from the opening menu, it is functiong....as in the actual switch on my TM HOTAS is working......
-
I'm having this problem also. I've just upgraded to TM HOTAS, but cant set TDC on HUD to SPI.???? I'll try using keyboard command, but TMS Fwd long should do it....or am I missing something?

so there's no way you can dial in a frequency for a NDB that's not in the pre-set 8 channels? Also some of the NDB's on the map are at lower frequencies than it is possible to set on the R800.

Oh, stop it guys.....it's a printed manual!.......lol

I have up graded to Win 7.....loaded BS,.....and now it will not start properly. I get a 'Blank Main Menu'....I hear the music playing, but see nothing to select with the mouse. when I go to close the window, it just asks....do I really want to close the program,...and give me a 'Yes' and 'No' to choose from!....What do I need to do? I have asked Windows to run it in XP mode. Can anyone help please.

Points taken DarkEagle....prob just me just having a bad day!.....or frustrated with waiting for the release of 'Warthog'....lol
-
Thnx DarkEagle for your reply.....but if you cannot answer questions in a reasonable way, i'd prefer you not to at all. Please keep the 'smartarse' ones to yourself in future! Nobody needs them.

Thanks for all the info in this thread. Really interesting for me as I am about to start purchasing components for my 'New PC'......and am not that clued up on everything available on the market!
-
CES......what's this?
-
Well I would for one. There is no substitute for a good bound printed copy of the Manual. Priceless for continued learning wherever you are. Good suggestion 'mithandra'.......my printed copy of the Black Shark manual was well worn, but was like my best friend for almost a year........so sad!
-
I agree with you StrongHarm. The Manual is is a great read even before flight. I take it that you have just read the downloaded Beta Manual.....and that there is not yet available the final bound and printed version? If so, where do I get it?

Hi, Can anyone tell me if I can send a wingman to a 'Designated and stored' Ingress point that I produce on my ABRIS in conjunction with using the 'Go To' and 'Data Link Point' radio commands?
-
I think the original question by 'Monkshead' was referring to 'Designating target points' using the Navigation panel and the Shkval. Page 11-5 of the manual describes how to do it (with a few printing errors). I have tried over and over, but have no luck either. Any suggestions anyone!
