  1. hello guys :), can someone (hope from ED) update me on the Nevada map status? When I purchased A10C beta, many many months ago, I've been told that I would have got the Nevada map for free when released. As far as I can see now it's not clear when it will be released and if I shall pay for it... thanks Alessandro

Stasera provo, la radio non credo sia su facile, nel senso che vado ad impostare manualmente la frequenza nel pannello di sinistra però è come se poi fosse spenta quando chiamo la torre, devo controllare se è su TR... La mappa del nevada non si sa nulla??? ho visto dei video sul tubo ed è davvero una figata! :pilotfly:
  3. ciao, bentrovati! sono passati anni da quando postavo su AMVI.. Ho ripreso in mano l'A10C dopo mesi e mesi di inattività e ho dovuto ristudiarmi tutto xchè non mi ricordavo una mazza!:book: ma quant'è bello sto sim?? due domandine: 1-ma la mappa del Nevada che fine ha fatto? non doveva essere rilasciata da tempo (e gratis per chi aveva acquistato la beta dell'A10)? 2-quando sono in modalità Mav e vado a switchare con il Boat tra White Hot e Black Hot, è normale che mi cambia il colore solo della croce (bianca o grigia) ma l'immagine rimane sempre la stessa? Faccio veramente fatica a fare il lock sul target perchè spesso non ha il contrasto necessario e non aggancia. A quanto lo tenete lo slew della telecamera? 3-quando vado ad impostare la frequenza della torre di una qualsiasi pista e chiamo per l'inbound, non mi risponde mai nessuno! dove sbaglio? Come vedete sono DAVVERO MOLTO indietro... :music_whistling: ciao Alessandro

  6. thanks for the answer: as suggested in the sound FAQ adding the following lines/parameters in the autoexec.cfg should make it better. sound.cockpit_world_volume = 2.6 sound.cockpit_world_lowpass = 5000 I'll try tonight at home :) bye
  7. Guys, just installed BS and patched to 1.0.2: respect to 1.0.1 now I can't hear any flares sound when realeased and also the sound in general is somehow a bit poor in term of "feel to be there". When I had the 1.0.1 I installed the hokumsound package which was really good and give more realistic sound inside the pit and also from outside view. I tried to install it on 1.0.2 with the latest modman but I have no sound change so I don't know if it works on 1.0.2. Could you give any advise is there's some particular sound configuration I have to set, and also if someone has hokumsounds working on 1.0.2 or some other very good sound package working on it?? thanks!!

  11. Hello guys, I'm to reinstall BS as for moved to Win7-64. Wanted to know if 1.0.2 run better than 1.0.1, or if it's just for FC compatibility. I had some issues with with 1.0.2 and modman mods (such as hokumsounds_V1 which didn't work) so I guess I would remain on 1.0.1 unless you tell me that the last patch perform better BS and it worth it, beside the FC compatibility. thanks!!!!   13. Hello guys, just an easy and quick question: does trackIr 5 work with BS on a win 7 64bit system? I wanted to move from xp 32 to Win7 64 and I see that A10c has just a workaround to make tir work on win7, so I was wondering if I will encounter similar issues also with blackshark. thanks for your help! cheers:) Alessandro

As already reported, the issue occurs when I set texture=high, not matter the lowest are the other video options in game and in CCC 3d panel (and at lower monitor resolution), it's the identical issue reported by Tulkas in the really first post of this thread. When the system ends to load the mission the video gets corrupted (see tulkas screenshots), audio is ok, but I can press a rectangle which is supposed to be the esc button and dcs.exe gets crashed (see files attached) but returning to main mission menu, not a CTD. Directx and ati drv are the most recent.   18. AA and AF are application controlled, adaptative AA and catalyst AI are disabled. V-sync is on, I'll try to set it to off but I don't think it will make difference...
  19. just updated the driver version from 9.8 to 10.9, but nothing to do... still the same problem with texture=high...:cry: but at least I got a gain of 5-7 fps!:thumbup:
  20. Hi Focha, I'm not sure it's the same issue: I have a problem of video corruption only when texture=high (or also =mid in nevada) and not while flying, but as soon as the system ends to load the mission and the mission should start. cheers

  22. the most actual ati drivers are 10.9, but Tulkas (same card as mine)reported that 10.9 didn't help with that issue. I could try the update in any case but 9.8 drv are one of the best version for the 4850 (expecially when you need to force the V-sync to avoid tearing effect). cheers
  23. the same identical issue for me. my system: E8500 4Gb Ram Radeon 4850 512Mb Drv 9.8 Win XP Pro 32bit My issue is always the same and I couldn’t find any sort of video options and configurations (neither in Ati CCC) to workaround it (even setting all the graphic options to the lowest values possible and MSAA to off): if set Texture to HIGH in caucaso region and to High or MID (sometime even LOW) in Nevada region cause video corruptions at the end of the loading screen. I can hear the sound but video is like the screenshots previously posted by Tulkas. I could try to update the ati driver but if I'm not wrong Tulkas has reported that it didn’t help. Don’t think is a memory issue because other ati or nvidia 512mem card doesn’t have such issue. I could AA work only after have set “application setting” in Ati CCC, so that’s ok. Now I'm flying (quite fine) at 1900x1200 with most of settings to MID. cheers
  24. hi, can you tell me your 3d setting in ati panel and all the graphic settings in dcs.a10 video options? I have the same rig as Tulkas and the same identical error situation when set Texture to MAX. How much ram in your 4830? Set MSAA to off like VJS161_Fire didn't solve...:( thanks
  25. hello:), I'm getting exactly the same problem of Tulkas: if Texture is set to High (and other setting to mid-low) or even to Mid and other settings to mid-high I then got freezing and corrupted textures after the loading screen, exactly like in those screenshots. I have about the same rig also: E8500+4850-512mb+4GbRam+WinXP Sp3 32bit. Don't know if a memory size issue, as other users seem to not have similar problem with other 512mb vid card. At 1900*1200 I get 15-20 fps at ground and 30-40 in the air. Another issue is that AA filter seem to be not applied no matter which value is set in the option menu. Driver is 9.8, with "application" on AA setting. cheers
