I have been on a very steep learning curve like many new pilots and there is a grey area where the new player thinks this or that is not right and after searching and asking and searching again a solution is finally found. I just had that eureka moment and it felt pretty good! In my desperation I uninstalled Black Shark then re-installed (losing an activation in my haste) and playing version 1.0 of the game (As I went straight to the patched version berfore). Problem was exactly the same! Rudder trims perfectly. Pitch and Yaw does not. Played with control settings. Set rudder to pitch and pitch to rudder on joystick! No difference. Can still trim rudder and not pitch. Patched game and then hooked up a PS2 controller with a USB adapter. No difference. At this point I thought I was going mad. Almost to the point of giving up on the game ! Looked through ‘Problems and Bugs Forum’ Found one thread on similar trim problem that had a new idea changing the Producer.cfg file Thought why not and carefully changed settings and fired up the game expecting the same problem and guess what? It seems the more I learn the more I need to learn :book: It took me a while to work out how to view a track but I did it and then as I was watching the flight I downloaded I thought: 'Hang on, the cockpit is in English!' So there lies my questions Where can I locate settings to change from Russian to English Cockpit? Do I have to download & instal anything to obtain an English Version? The game is an English version. Having said all that I do like the Russian text as it feels more authentic.

Well I'm learning alot but still no luck with trim although I can hear the switch sounds when I press 't'. Not much luck with auto hover either but at least I can see the lamp on, H symbol and the Heli reacts! I try everything to get trim to hold the pitch but I must not be doing it right :cry: Please look at the attached track file, I think I saved and uploaded it right. Thanks in advance. Thanks for the replies Well here is a short (4 min) clip of me taking off, then trying to trim with no success then.... Ahem.... Landing. All comments appreciated avi file was 1.7 GB but I now know I need to make that smaller but this 1.7 GB clip was uploaded anyway :smartass:

Hi Guys, Okay I managed to record a 4 min clip in FRAPS !!! :D But the avi file seems huge at 1.7GB :helpsmilie: I am now uploading to youtube and going out for a good few hours so hope it's finished by the time I get back. Their limit is 2GB so I was lucky the file was ONLY 1.7GB lol I'm guessing I need to record in lower resolution or different file format. What would you recommend and how big should a 4 min file be for good enough quality to see all the detail? I will post the clip link in my trimmer thread once it's complete if your curious and any comments would be great!!! Thanks

Thanks Guys !!!!! All fine now, didnt imagine controls would be different in Game and Sim mode :pilotfly: To celebrate I took this screenshot of my near perfect first landing in Sim mode :D

I started a thread re: Trim and Auto Hover and while trying to resolve that problem have encountered a different problem so thought a new thread would make sense as I have yet to resolve the other problems. I set the game on Simulation preset settings and now I am unable to increase collective to take off after start up ‘Windows and Home’. :thumbup: On the virtual control display ‘control and enter’ no input is shown for throttle change when I move the throttle joystick slider. :( I did press page up to increase revs but with no collective input all I can do is wobble about and damage the helicopter…..:joystick: Thanks

Thanks for all the replies ! :thumbup: Well I spent some time tweaking this and that and to no avail I have these settings at the moment: BUT I did try ALL variations checking and unchecking: GAME FLIGHT MODE GAME AVIONICS MODE CENTRAL POSITION TRIMMER MODE One thing I did notice was trimmer worked perfectly for the rudder :noexpression: And one set up made a 'H' display on the right of the virtual position display 'Ctrl and Enter' but the auto hover did not work and the panel light did not display for auto hover. Any more ideas would be great. Will check out the joystick idea tomorrow. I do not have a wheel input but I do have a belkin game pad, so who knows..... Thanks again....

Hi everyone, I am slowly getting to grips with this Sim and really enjoying all the learning :smartass: but I have a problem with trim and auto hover.:joystick: I fly okay and understand how to trim when flying :pilotfly:but when I press 't' I hear it engage but it has no effect on the controls! :helpsmilie: I also try to engage auto hover 'Alt and t' but hear no click and no light shows on the over head panel. :cry: When I go into training on the hover the auto hover light shows when I engage it but still no repsonse from trim or auto hover. I wonder if I may have changes settings some place? :doh: If I have changed settings is there anyway to reset to default? Any help appreciated. :D Thanks
