  1. Probably due to scenery density. TrackIR is simply a must. I´m using TIR4 PRO, and TIR5 software. Crewe
  2. Think I´m facing a clean re-installation  Thanks for your input, guys! Crewe
  3. I think NickN´s profile for nHancer is your best bet. I´ll be setting up my nHancer in accordance with the recommended profile for FSX, http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=29041 there are screenies of his setup, not the newest edition of nHancer used, but shouldn´t be an issue. Have used his profile for FSX until recently where I went to win 7 64 bit, so I´m excited to see the effect. No need to uninstall nvidia control panel, nHancer will override.
  4. Cool, got game up and running. Only issues over resolution and zoom left. Thx.
  5. Yeah, digital. So I have to set the res. for desktop and in the game to the same value. But above mentioned issues arise. Have I been dreaming? There´s no talking when taking the tutorials, only text. Have tried different resolutions, but there´s still only text. But maybe I have to look for a different cause?
  6. Got three wide screen monitors, got resolution set at 5040x1050, running Win 7 64 bit. Using the TH2Go config editor called SGU to prepare for proper in game resolution causes the game to stutter a lot, frame rates are 3-4! If I undo the config-edit in SGU I get a smooth game at high settings, but I get a very close zoom in the cockpit. I can reduce the zoom a bit, and using TrackIR 4 Pro I have an ok view, but would like to be able to zoom out a bit more. It also seems to mute the talking in the tutorials, does the same in FSX missions, although frame rates are in the 20´s but with a little stuttering. I also tried 4080x768, same result (but FSX works fine in that res.) So, my question is: Does anyone know how my issue is resolved? Other specs.: GTX 285 SC, E6800 3.33 GHz and Corsair 4 GB DDR3 RAM 1333 MHz, dedicated Samsung harddrive, ASUS Striker II Extr., everything super cooled. Processor and RAM are to be overclocked in near future, but I doubt that it will boost frame rates from 3-4 to the smooth sailing I got when not "optimizing" the config. But you tell me... Any help much appreciated. Crewe
  7. Thanks a lot! Vanilla...you make me wanna go for ice cream right now!
  8. When I installed patch hotfix a-b, and then 1.0.1c it ruined my installation, since there was no link for 1.0.1a, I thought I was doing the right thing. My research in the patch thing reveals a lot of talk about the 1.0.1a patch, but that particular patch is nowhere to be found, not by me at least. And I´m not too keen on getting on to some doubious torrent site. I´ll delete the whole shabang and hope for a kind soul to provide me with a link or a clue as to what I´m supposed to do with the patches provided. Should I just use 1.0.1c and nothing else? Hope this post is not in the wrong section, if so, my apologies. Crewe
