I really have to say Thank you EvilBivol and Wags. I honestly did not have expected to get some official updates when I was entering the Forums today morning. I also had the same concerns as some guys has spoken out here recently. Now waiting is no more a harm because I can say that the long awaited and favourite Helicopter will be available in a convenient timeframe and waiting is no more a pain in the ass. Really appreciating the fact that you are really reading even these parts of the Forums and hit right into the black when it is most needed...it couldn't have been better...Thanks to you both

Hmmm...isnt the already existing Bell UH-1H Model, which is AI driven at the moment, the same as the model which is about to become a Module? I dont get it, because of the former announcement and the delay(s), it would be a nice move from ED to explain what the actual problem is..

Can someone explain please what kind of legal stuff are we talking about here actually? Is that about certain images that are used in the Module? Is that the whole Project in all? What is that, that is delaying for "legal" reasons?

What is about all the media legal stuff? Aren´t there any new infos around to provide us at least a few images? <sarcasm> Is it because the lawyers (or whoever is responsible for this) are being on strike like the lawyers and judges in Greece? Or do they simply have better things to do like drinking coffee or playing cards, watching the latest Playmate??? </sarcasm> EB-1´s update is nearly a 3 month old one, so I somehow have difficulties to understand that legal stuff, what is it all about that at all? I really want to attract a few of my friends into DCS. But they are more interested in Helicopters. But I cant do anythings without any media stuff

Thanks for the update Wags, but honestly, the community is lacerating themselves about the map, wasn´t it possible to tell us a little before? I haven't known that the map is almost done. The last news were made in may, half a year ago.

agreed, this is very strange. I dont understand why they keep us uninformed.I really think that EDGE was a little too much, or they droped it because of all the DCS World improvements they made. ED, is it really too much expected if we want to know whats going on there? Come on, say somethings!!!

May be you´re right, and yes, absolutely no DCS World Standart. I dl the first Video (Fighter Weapon School) I thought it would offer a sneap peak for the F-15C:music_whistling: (because of the image which represents the Video), but all I got to see was FC2 like A-10A, Mig-29 and SU25 Vids. No offense, It´s a lot of work to do and it definately worth for new players, but for me it was dissapointing

Thanks for agreeing in the first place. I think you nontheless missunderstood my intentions a little. I havent spoken of any other information of FC3, because it is as you said. Given statements are as they are (Bugs / features etc.). I am only speaking of the videos and an actually needed information behind these videos. It should have been clear for ED that the release of those videos, would cause a further discussion like this. But they didnt said anythings nontheless, and that is what makes me mad. I have but a fully understanding for ED and it´s buisness strategics, but sometimes i simply cant agree with them, this is such a moment

It is not about certain information, it is about the simple thing to give an official statement about the availability of those videos, and may be a little further information regarding the development process of FC3, whether it still takes some time or might be available soon. That is pretty important to avoid right those posts and keep the community posted, no more and no less. This is actually a minimum what the community can expect in this matter...a decent and proper communication politics and not always this back and forth regarding FC3... The community was turmoiled once already with the release announcement and later with the delay announcement. And now a third time where the community seems keep left alone and confused, it is simply not fair. Talk to us.

IIRC, so not having it activated by default is causing crashes for the whole software right within the loading process of a Mission. I think that was related to some MFCD requirements which wouldnt be able to run with activated Aero surface in the background. I dont know whether this is correct, I might be wrong.

No, I dont think this, and I haven´t said this (proof of life was ment more in a matter of a phrase rather than a thing taken to serious) You might be right on this, and this somehow makes sense since ED can only focus on one specific item befor it can touch the next thing. Nontheless, actually and officially I see this impatient behaviour of me and some others as a kind of a compliment to ED, dont you agree? I mean, rather a discussion of "when will we have it" than nothings like "I dont care"?:thumbup:

That sounds like as it still would take years until we can finally put a hand on it. I know that you´re simply a Forums Moderator with no access to any further information, but if I remember right so we should have it actually installed already on our harddrives. So like Wags always says, everythings is subject to change, I do understand that the current releases and deployments may cause the delay. But wouldn´t it drop any "conspiracy´s" if we would get a simple proof of life? We already got some, month ago. So there´s no secret anymore (eccept the technical specifics behind EDGE and I totally understand this). So, is a simple proof of life really too much expected?

I believe that you are right in some points. The development takes a huge bunch of time and the official statements are confusing (the last one is long time ago already). I do not speak now of the development again from scratch, I am aware about this. If I remember right so Nevada should have already been released in Summer, at least a beta version. I may be wrong informed about this, I dont know. The last time we got some sneak peak screenies is a while ago again. Some information about the process this would be really nice :music_whistling: EDIT: I know about this and I accept this, as I noticed that ED has done a lot recently. I am just mentioning, that I´d like to know about whats going on, thats all.
