OK not sure what i have done ,in mission editor when i select any load out it will not display on the mini preview bottom right but is on the aircraft when i fly the mission this happens on all aircraft have tried a new mission as well but still there. Also tried having CAP/escort etc in task, any help would be appreciated and screenshot attached.

Yes i thought that too but was very quickly shut down on the steam forum and a mod locked my thread, i have accepted it and will just wait it out just a little disappointed with steam re the Su-33 but hey ho maybe i will not use steam going forward not that they will give a hoot eh

Will 100% stick with it i have been focusing on learning the hornet and carrier landings with the stennis ,still a long way to go but i am good with that as learn something new every day and the guides on here as well as you tube are fantastic and a great help so not going anywhere soon

I put in 8 refund requests with Steam with a detailed reasons for the request but all denied , hopefully the wait will be worth it,looks great in the trailers but steams "customer service" is lacking ,but its all good because they gifted me an su-33 ....that i already purchased :megalol:

Steam purchase of super carrier Evening all new here so apologies if in the wrong section. I purchased the pre order of SC yesterday morning on steam as it stated available in 6 hours time but what i later found out was it had been delayed (read on this forum) no problem as with good reason by the sounds of it. I submitted a request for a refund and have been refused on the basis i used the "free" Su-33 that came bundled with the carrier although no mention of this in the description , i already owned the aircraft having purchased FC3 so had no need for it anyway. I had used the Su33 for 5 hours but that was two weeks ago and on the one already purchased. Bit of a rant so apologies but my problem is with steam and it looks i have no grounds with them so my question is WILL the super carrier work with the steam edition when it is released?, i personally do not think steam should have it on the store page as there is no mention of release dates anymore nor mention of a bundled su33. A little concerned i have just chucked away £26.99 hopefully that is not the case and any advice going forward will be appreciated ie not through Steam if that is an option.

Just going through the in game Fa18 training and the instruction does not seem to tally with what is actually going on altitude/speed etc, i am using the steam edition of dcs and it all runs smooth aprt from this. Was a clean install on a new machine, any ideas chaps?

Thanks for the welcomes, have decided to concentrate on the FA/18 as a start point and have been using chucks guide , 2 hour flight this afternoon from cold and ended with not a bad landing..much mach more to learn but doing the start up from cold gives a good insight into some of the systems and why i was seeing some error/failure/warnings on my initial flights.

Hello all , with some unexpected time on my hands (Gatwick airport closure) I decided to pick up a gaming laptop, a TM 1600 Hotas and DCS on steam with FC3,Av8b and the F14b plus Persian gulf add on. Having played FSX for many years on my old laptop I am really enjoying DCS World and after my initial play around I am hoping to put some time in and learn as much as I can so looking forward to being part of the forum.
