  1. Thank you very much for your advise. I put the sensor on the other side instead of the bottom of stick (see the attachment), is this correct? I cant put them at the bottom as the gap was very small, the movement of the axis will hit the sensor. So I put them on the other side and linked with link bars. The extental spring is an good idea. I was going to intall springs at the end of ''cam arm'' , not many space there tho.
  2. Hi guys, I am planning to modify (or actully make a new one) my T16000M stick. I had the stick for more than 5 years but it has started making noise now (as you know those plastic ball joint structure don't last long). :joystick: However the sensor is working perfectly as it is contactless. So it makes me thinking to make a metal one, which should last long and I can have extented length, adjustable reture force etc.:smilewink: I did a search online and someone did a extentsion on it without changing the ball joint. I think this will shorten the lift span as larger force will be applied on the plastic. Have any of you tried similar thing before and any suggestions? In order to use the old senser, I guess it has to keep the same movement as it was in T16000M and the same 2.5mm distance between magnet and senser (please correct me if I am wrong). I have done the CAD design for the stick. I am also going to make a level for the throttle has the accuracy was bad and rearrange the buttons. If anyone know the gap between magnet and senser, maximium moving distance and angle of T16000M, that will be very helpful. Also is there anyone know how to design the cam profile of the arm which provide return force?
  3. Thanks bro. I think I might go for the F18.
  4. Just wanna catch this sale and I will have a lot time in the next few months.;)
  5. I think I will get Tomcat next time I think. I am also thinking about we can fly F16 in BMS, the image quality is way worse tho.
  6. I like both A/A and carrier landing. I tried SU33 many times tho.
  7. Thanks. I didn't try the F16 but did try the F18. I found it is a bit dull at high speed. I think it is due to the AOA limit of FCS, I heard F16 is using G limit FCS. Is F16 a bit more agile?
  8. Not sure if it is right place to ask. I have played sim for a few years but actual flight hours is not very long due to limited time. Since the COVID19 I have more time to practice now, but want to know which module I should get. I already had FC3 and MIG21 while ago and just brought the JF17 few days ago. As the JF is a bit expensive, I am planning to get F16 or F18 during this sale (F14 is good but too expensive for this time), but not sure which one I should buy. F18 has carrier operation, good at low speed dogfight and all different weapons available. F16 seems not completed but is a very good dogfighter and might not get 50% discount in near future. So F16 is more like a long term invest as I have other planes to play with at the time. What do you think? Thanks guy and keep safe, stay health.
