  1. Thanks! I hope I understood your instructions correctly and will try it out next time I‘m home (2 weeks). And it’s written „autoexcec.cfg“?
  2. Thanks for the inputs and sorry for my late reply - I am not often home these days due to work. I tried to set the Nvidia control to a fixed refreshrate but couldn’t find the grafic.lua is it in saved games or in the main folder? what I tried till now didn’t solve it
  3. No, fortunately that didn’t help. Great fps but stuttering like crazy looking everywhere else than sideways.
  4. Yes, some seats were already built in Europe (like mine) but some parts were tricky to get all over the world last year. One of them was a motor controller I waited for half a year - just check and it’s in stock, even cheaper right now. So don’t worry too much for that. The built takes some time of course and it’s a technical project but you get a great help from the founder and the people in the forum.
  5. It very much depends on the parts and where you get them from. Mine was maybe around 3k in total but thats just a good guess as I build an F14 homepit as well and so it was a big project in total. Sorry, no pictures in public but maybe I will upload some videos of my whole setup in the future.
  6. Hi folks, I just updated to Win11, reinstalled DCS and using a Crytsal. system specs: 5800x3D 4090 32Gigs of RAM at 3200MHz RogStrix B550 motherboard My problem: don’t wanna go too deep into the Crystal setup as this is maybe not needed right now but I am using the OpenXR toolkit and the OpenPX software. My Grafik setup is mostly high but many things are turned down or off as well and I am not overloading my PC I guess. Flying my test mission in Syria/ Free Flight/ F16, it gives me between 75 to 80 fps but looking sideways I have heavy stuttering - the frame counter does not drop during that. with these fps, the stutters should be eliminated but they are there as I would have 25fps. Turning down the resolution to from 3200x to 2600x eliminated the stuttering but the frame rate counter doesn’t do much - maybe goes to 85-90 - but that can’t explain why even with 80fps before it feels like a cinema in old times. plus, going down below 3000pixels looks waaaay worse than in the G2 before. I tried quite a few things with upscaling in openxr (motion reproduction is not available in the Crystal) but that all doesn’t change it. every help is highly appreciated! I tried to find something in the forum but couldn’t find a solution - maybe you guys are in a better work-flow regarding this problem. thanks and always blue skys
  7. Dear gentlemen (and perhaps ladies), I am trying to build an F14 simpit for VR as well. It should complete the setup for my DIY G-Seat in the end. So long story short, I tried to get into CAD, 3d printing, metal amd wood-workand all the rest tbats needed. I really enjoy reading about your progress. At the same time I know, that my pit willnever reach the level of Mumbles, LAsooner or Gunslinger (what a genius..) Anyway, I did some basic work for the cockpit and I wanted to share my experience and ideas so far, if needed. As I could not find a suitable ACM panel and an emergency wing sweep with the push/pull,I designed it by myself. Please take into account, that these things are still prototypes till the pit is alive and, for example, the size of the lever is not final! I am trying to design the pit with its panels and the seat to a level, that all of it comes together and is usable in VR. Further more, my pit should mainly be reflecting the F14, but also house a collective for helicopters and MFDs for other, more modern planes. I will share my CAD files and ideas for the construction as the project comes alive. Cheerio, Ragnaroek
  8. I even went further and reinstalled everything from scratch - means I ereased 2 TB of games and data but it helped a lot ! using my settings from before, I can say that it runs now with 45fps reprojection again but the better clarity I cant agree on. Reverb G2 set to 80% SS and 1.0 in DCS My hope was that it maybe collided with some mods deep in the system (shadder, shadow or smtg else) - looks like it worked at least a bit, cause before it was unplayable. 5800X RTX 3090 32Gb 3200Mhz B550
  9. Same here, stuttering even with Clouds in LOW and same settings as before. I am running a 3090 with an AMD 5800X and its unplayable now. what makes me wonder: during troubleshooting, one time I was getting back to Windows to check my settings and suddenly DCS was running well, so I even increased the settings -> then I tried out a different mission and all went back to stuttering. I could not reproduce the better performance again. where can I find the dcs log to attach it? thanks
