G'day everyone

I have gone through just about every thread trying to find a solution but it all seems to come up blank. I am looking for a way to have multi monitor support with my vista OS rig.

My set up is as follows:

2 Monitors:

Main monitor to the right (monitor 1) (1680 x 1050)

secondary monitor to the left (Monitor 2) (1280 x1024)

My aim is to have the abris and shkval on the left monitor and the main game screen on the right

Every time i have tired to do this i am jsut getting the shkval abris and main screen on the main monitor. I am aware vista only does dual view support and was wondering if there was a way around this.

Also what should i use to edit the .lua files?

Hope you all can help

Cheers Skete

Hi Skete - it seems like they have gathered a lot of the "Multi monitor" and setups to a new subforum. You'll find a lot of goodies there:

Game Controllers

Treats like: Multi-Monitors in DCS? Easy

Or gems like: Dualview monitors?

I hope you can get something valuable out of those threads, buddy :)

EDIT: Oh, this one is the general forum: For those with a single widescreen who want larger ABRIS/Shkval overlays

First of all thanks for the reply Panzertard

Well i got the monitor's finally working- kept messing up the placement of them.

But my 2 next problems is that i cant seem to get the phantom monitor fix to work and the multilayer GUI is still stretched over 2 screens or is this how it is meant to be?

Also and i think this could just be that my system cant handle it but when ever i print screen now the game crashes!

Isnt there a function in Windows / Graphics panels (both depending on which version etc you have) that allow for "Extend desktop to #2" or "Stretch my view to #2".

Could such options be part of the problem?

Or is it just DCS:BS related (not any other games)?

you can't fix the MP screen. It is one of the reasons not to use multi monitor. Yeah, print screen makes it crash (another reason not to use multi monitor).

You can fix the placements by editing the lua files. Make sure the phantom monitor fix is in the bin/stable folder.
