having a bit troubles with the auto hover mode

Guys, pls tell how to get from auto hover mode to the mode where I can change altitude manually (direction of the heli still fixed by AP)

when slaving the Gazelle with "E" and turning off AP , the thing loses direction again, so how to lock it in hovering mode but changing altitude ?

So, the typicla maneuver before the attack : hovering...popping out of defensive position and then falling back into hide position , how to perform that correc ? pls help

Pressing "C" should disengage the auto collective.

Indeed. You'll need the auto collective. It's mapped to my HOTAS. Practice however. And don't practice on low altitude. You'll see what I mean ;)
