monkie Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 New install on windows 10, 1.5.4 or whatever the newest is at this point. I am using a wingman rumblepad gamepad, I've been using it with no issues windows 8.1 and DCS World about 5 months ago. I made sure to uncheck FFB in the misc options and the center and rudder trim are unchecked in the special category. When I hold the cyclic into the correct position and press the trim button, I can see the button depressed but the stick always returns to it's centered position. The only two variables that have changed is that I went from Windows 8.1 to 10 and of course about 5 months worth of DCS world updates. The two things I've noticed. If I check trim rudder it seems to affect and trim the rudder fine so at least I know it's getting the TRIMMER command ok. The other thing is that even though I've de-selected FFB in misc my controller is still getting FFB commands from DCS. When I trim I even get feedback as if it's in a newly trimmed position yet it's still going back to it's neutral state. I know this is an ongoing issue with DCS and not necessarily a huey problem but hopefully somebody can give me a few more things to try. Without Trim the huey is just a no go and it seems silly to uninstall over a trim issue. Sager Laptop, i7-6700k 4.00GHz, 16GB RAM, GTX 980M, 1920x1080, TIR 5, Windows 10
monkie Posted July 12, 2016 Author Posted July 12, 2016 OK, it's a big new bug that is affecting several folks and there is a bit of a work around for now. If you Ralt-J into another aircraft and then Ralt-J back it fixes the problem. I can confirm that the trimmer works perfectly after doing this. ED is working on the issue and I'm sure they will sort it out. It's tough enough setting things up again on a new rig but I stumbled right into this one and thought for sure I or Windows 10 was the problem. Hopefully others that are having the same issue will now see it's a larger bug affecting many of the aircraft. Sager Laptop, i7-6700k 4.00GHz, 16GB RAM, GTX 980M, 1920x1080, TIR 5, Windows 10
