Suchois Drag Chute

Can anybody tell me how to use the drag chute in the SU 27 and the SU 33?

It does not open when I press the assigned button, no matter how fast I am.

It works fine in the SU 25 and the SU 25T

I have no problem using the chute through the default [P] command in the Su-27 (provided I'm not too fast). :)

There was a bug in previous versions (1.2.7 or 1.2.8?) though. Is your DCS up to date?

As for the 33, it's not equiped with a chute...:doh:

Yes it is up to date. Strange, it does not appear. Do i have to equip it or something like that? And I am pretty sure i was not to fast. Tried it out at very low speeds.

Edit: Are you sure, that the 33 does not have one? I can assign a key to it in the Controls Menu...

The keys are somewhat similiar in all FC3 maps. Back than you used the same key config in all FC3 ACs because they had the same config

No chute on the 33.

Ok, probably a stupid question but... You are trying to open the chute while on the ground during a landing, right? I'm saying that cause the Su-25s can open the chute while airborne, but not the Su-27 (because of the AFM, I have always assumed)
