Hee hee...yeah, reminds me of Combat Mission back in the day:

 

1st player: "How the hell can this guy be laying on flat ground but still be in cover?!"

 

2nd player: "When's the last time you saw perfectly table-flat patch of ground?" :lol:

 

Not totally applicable, but yeah, when you've got your face nearer to the dirt, you notice stuff you missed before! :)

Two things, first a stupid question: What is a MANPAD?

Second: why not try to slow the convoy, by taking out some of the first vehicles in it? Of course after taking out AA units...

Ok so if trees don't provide a collide object, then I would assume munitions would be able to go through them. Does this include radar or lasers (targeting systems) as well? How about AI line of sight?

 

If those answer a 'yes', then the AI for all practical purposes doesn't SEE the trees at all. Which puts us - the player - at a disadvantage.

 

To remedy this, there should be an option to turn off the trees. Is this available?
