When last week I installed the 1.2.4 version over my 1.2.3, I simply ran the auto-updater, it took it's time downloading first the new updater installer and installing it and then the patch itself.

The process was successful, and I have been using the sim and all of my registered modules (p51d, a10c, ka50 and uh-1h) without problems.

Yesterday when the new update got available, the auto-updater prompted me when I started DCS and I accepted the update. The update was downloaded and installed without problem, and again, I used the p51d without any problems.

Now, I believe I read somewhere that now we should use the new Module Manager to install the updates for each of the modules separately.

I did that, logged in into the Module Manager and chose to update each module. Each process ended without problems, and I went flying. Again no surprises, but I wonder - was this last step really required (will it allways be from now on, with the updater updating only the base package and then we having to update each module separately from the Module Manager), or does each update automatically update everything?

The update process updates all official modules.

I did that, logged in into the Module Manager and chose to update each module.

How's that?

MM does not have an option to update a module. Only to install or uninstall.

Well Dmitry, it was really fast :-), but there was an update button, probably meant to Update the modules list (?) - stupid me... Duh!

Well, I believe after that I clicked "Install" for each module, and the files were apparently processed in seconds - probably because contrarily to me, it's a wise installer there :-)

Thx for your answer!

No, it's stupid us, the button should be called "Refresh".

Thanks for pointing it out.

I borrow this thread to ask something about Module Manager: When I open the Module Manager and go to Installed-tab, and click the Serial Number of my A-10C Warthog, it says "No key".

Why is that? I thought that the Module should show my valid key? Anyway, DCS A-10C works OK, no problem.

I can login in the module manager. Logged in and out several times. And I can login into digitalcombatsimulator site (http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/myserials.php) and I can see my key there. But the Module Manager won't show my serial.
