gonk Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 I noticed while playing MP (mostly) the memory usage just keeps growing until it crashes. Is there a memory flush command that anyone knows of ? or a switch I can use while launching ? To see if this can stablilse the game ? thanks Intel Intel Core i7-8086K 32 Gig RAM 1 Tb Nvme SSD EVGA 1080Ti Win 10 64 Pro LG 34UM95 34 inch Monitor Track IR 5 Oculus Rift HOTAS Warthog...mod'd TDC SIMPEDS Pedals
Hanley Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 It appears that the same thing is happening for me playing SP exclusively.

Aluminum Donkey Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Memory leak is confirmed, so just wait for fix :) Thanks, I had a rough time believing that even the mighty DCSW could eat all 8GB of my RAM and still need more :) It seems to be using less and not overflowing since the last update. Hanley Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 I tried pouring some "Stop Leak" in my puter but it didn't help. ;-)
xcom Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 To report, there's definitely a memory leak in multiplayer games. DCS process got to 30GB!!! on our server after running DCS for about 10 hours, at that point it crashed. SUI - Mustang Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 To report, there's definitely a memory leak in multiplayer games. DCS process got to 30GB!!! on our server after running DCS for about 10 hours, at that point it crashed. I'm hosting a small multiplayer server a lot now, you've been on it Xcom. I have crashes about every hour now at least. I monitor my ram and I found out it fills up my 16gigs and just before it's all full the server crashes again. Is that the same problem the other people here are talking about?
