  1. Could you send me the blue brief as well per PM, was not able to attend official brief. Thank you!
  2. AGRS_Mustang F-15 or Mirage (same as WinchesterDelta1) Switzerland
  3. I made a mod to make them weaker, came up with 2 versions, one makes them about half as strong, the other removes them completely (which makes the glass almost invisible). The mods are JSGME ready, otherwise just drop the content into the main DCS World folder. They are downloadable here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BxD7OYrwCi0KVmVUdHlWSVROM0E Original: 50% reduction: 100% reduction:
  4. I worked on the swiss F-5 tigers as a weapons maintenance and mechanic when I had to do the mandatory swiss military service. We were trained to take the M-39's out of the plane completely, take them apart and clean every bit of it, put it back in and maybe replace one or another part of it when they didn't look good anymore. But I consider myself a novice in mechanical things, and the swiss army is a militia, so we don't have professionals, we only learned that stuff during about 14 weeks. I only studied architecture before, but this was no problem for me. Now I don't wanna even think about all the hydraulic and electrical stuff I'd have to be trained in if it was a M-61. That might strenghten the "easy export version" argument of Buzzels above. Also the M-39's are super compact and narrow and fit the tigers nose perfectly with the ammo box, when I look at the nose of a FA/18, that would never fit in there.
  5. We tried the crossing scene about 25 times :) Where do you live then? And are you interested to fly with us sometime? Would love some Schwizerdütsch on comms once in a while :D
  6. The Swiss Tiger is carrying the Aim-9P and it has an analoge cable that connects it to the plane. All newer variants like the M and X are connected via a digital cable I think. So you would have to change the whole plane's internal computer and guiding system to host this digital information.
  7. Actually I think the tiger's pipper should follow the uncaged seeker head. Thats what I had to test when I was weapons maintenance on the swiss F-5. Someone would stand outside, shine a torch into the seeker head and I had to sit in the cockpit, press uncage and see, if the pipper moves in the same way that the guy moves the torch (the IR signature of a torch is enough, from a lighter as well for that matter, but only up to about 20 meters). Now I dont know if the swiss version is that much different, but it doesn't have any different aiming system that the standard US one. So as far as I know, it should have a moving MSL pipper. (the guy in the article is talking about the F-4 not having that feature, right?)
  8. New video is out with Quick Startup, taxi and Takeoff explained, check first post: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2858876&postcount=1
  9. Thank you guys! The next one is done, main post is updated. Check it out. Next up is startup.
  10. IIRC pushing the engine start button lets the ingniter work for 40 seconds, so it doesn't matter too much if you press it before or after moving the throttle... But doing it according to the manual can't hurt.
  11. Someone on here said with repairing the aircraft, I didn't check that though. It might get changed so you can rearm it with normal rearm later...
  12. Now I am not sure about that at all, but wasn't there a bug with the 2.0 Nevada ATC and it wouldn't work? I don't know if it has been fixed, or if it was the same problem that you describe here.
  13. I didn't have that bug myself, so I can't replicate to find out what might cause it...
  14. No, the tail hook is purely for emergency landings on airfields that feature an arresting cable. For example when your breaks are damaged. Thats why you can only drop it from inside the cockpit, you can't put it back up like in a naval fighter.
  15. You guys are right of course, I got it mixed up. Autobalance turns the according boost pump off by itself, turns it on again when it switches itself off. So only when you use crossfeed, then you need to turn the boost pump off manually. Gotta put an annotation on the video. Thanks for the find ;)
  16. Well, the biggest part of the video is made by you guys :) Just giving back some of the awesomeness to you. And your words are in return motivating for making more of these videos! :joystick: ^^Thanks :) I know, right? Beware though, she'll ripp you and me appart in her F15 on 104th... :surrender:
  17. Interesting! Why would you want to choose only one fuse then? Can you have different DDU's on the nose and tail fuse, giving you the option to choose between the two delay settings on the go? If not, why not have both fuses armed always to have better reliability?
  18. Thanks guys! You mean a startup tutorial? Soon!
  19. Hey guys My girlfriend and I wanted to make a video together, and since we both own the M2K we thought we would try to recreate the Sky Fighter video on youtube. This is the outcome: This was the original: Enjoy, leave a like and comment and maybe a sub if you want to see more similar videos and tutorial videos. :pilotfly:
