Reaper6 Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 (edited) I have been trying to build some missions in 1.5, and when I check the situation as ground commander the artillery shells impacting sounds don't seem to play. I set a HMMWV near the impact zone(within 100m) and I can see the explosions but no sound is heard. Reaper6 Posted October 13, 2015 Author Posted October 13, 2015 Hi Reaper6 can you attach the mission or PM me if you do not want it in public. Just so I can see the setup and which units you have used. It is basically just in the beginning process of the mission, I usually add my artillery units first. But I have been having problems with the renaming of units to the DictKey situation, so I having been able to get very far. Here is the mission I have so far, I really appreciate you looking into this. If you just hop in the blue HMMWV and wait for the artillery impacts you should be able to see what I mean. test.miz Thank you again Reaper6 "De oppresso liber" NZXT Phantom Full Tower, Intel Core i7 4960X Processor(6x 3.60GHz/15MB L3Cache) 20% Overclocking, 64GB DDR3-2133 Memory, NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan Black-6GB SLI Mode(Dual Cards), Gigabyte GA-X79-UP4 Motherboard, ViewSonic PJD5132 SVGA Multi-Region 3D Ready Portable DLP Projector, Track IR 5, Thrustmaster Warthog, Cougar MFDs.

Boris Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 I've noticed all sorts of explosion sounds aren't playing. Funnily, the sounds work in the first mission I load, but not in any subsequent scenario I load. I've uploaded a track, but I'm not sure that anything can be learned from it. Boris Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Had a quick look at the track Boris, I can hear the explosions no problem. Ok, but that doesn't mean there's no problem. Maybe this is a hardware issue? Boris Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 I've tested it multiple times and I can confirm that the explosion sounds work in the first mission I load, but any subsequent mission I load I cannot hear them. If I restart DCS, the first mission I load will have them working again. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with which mission I load. My logs folder is attached...Logs.rar PC Specs / Hardware: MSI z370 Gaming Plus Mainboard, Intel 8700k @ 5GHz, MSI Sea Hawk 2080 Ti @ 2100MHz, 32GB 3200 MHz DDR4 RAM Displays: Philips BDM4065UC 60Hz 4K UHD Screen, Pimax 8KX Controllers / Peripherals: VPC MongoosT-50, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, modded MS FFB2/CH Combatstick, MFG Crosswind Pedals, Gametrix JetSeat OS: Windows 10 Home Creator's Update
