gavagai Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 There are several discussions about missiles effectiveness in 1.5.4, mostly about human vs. human play. So far I haven't experienced anything strange or different when shooting down human opponents. However, in this track from Open Conflict I was unable to hit the AI Tu-22s that fly around the map. In the first sortie I launch two Magics at a Tu-22 flying straight and level. Both explode at least 500m in the wrong direction from the Tu-22. In the third sortie I launch two R3R missiles at another Tu-22. Both miss. Then I close to firing range for the R-60M, and it misses too. Former easy shots with perfect aspect and range have now become laughable misses. I'm hoping ED will step back and take a good look at why their testing and implementation of this particular patch went so very wrong.
