sobe Posted June 7, 2017 Posted June 7, 2017 I want to add a Berlyoza (RWR) panel to Capt Zs existing Su-25t profile. I noticed that the same RWR appears in his later Su-27 profile so I copied the RWR panel and 2 little dials from his Su-27 profile into his Su-25t profile. A copy of that profile is attached without all of the other stuff. However, while the panel does initially appear, when I to go to fly, the panel disappears so I don’t know if it really works. I have moved down the RWR to a lower spot in the layers, but it still disappears. So, two things: First, can someone tell me what I am doing wrong in Helios? Second, I know that the RWR can be exported as Ikanus exports the RWR in its Su-25t profile. I would be willing to use the Ikanus export if I only could cut a hole in the Helios profile to fit the Ikanus RWR. However, despite people explaining that a hole can be cut, I have been unable to do so in an existing profile. These problems do not appear to rocket science, but to me it does. If anyone has any comments, please do so.Capt_Zeen-SHKSU25T-v1.0b_qwerty.zip Trackir4 using the latest Trackir 5 software, Win10 Pro [Creator Update] updated from Win7Pro Pro 64Bit, Intel® Core™ i5-2500 3.30 GHz 6M Intel Smart Cache LGA115 , GigaByte GA-Z68XP-UD4 Intel Z68 Chipset DDR3 16GB Ram, GTX MSI Gaming 1060 [6 GB] Video Card, Main Monitor 1 on left 1920x1080 Touchscreen Monitor 2 on right 1920x1080 .
Capt Zeen Posted June 7, 2017 Posted June 7, 2017 Hello sobe.. A couple of weeks after the release of the su27 profile, i started to make a new su25t version with all the new features from the su27 including the rwr. The profile was almost at 90% finished but i started another project in those days and is still waiting to be finished. As soon as i get a space free on my agenda, i am going to finish and publish it. Capt_Zeen_HELIOS PROFILES_WEBSITE Capt_Zeen_Youtube Channel
sobe Posted June 7, 2017 Author Posted June 7, 2017 Great. But I am looking at my project as a learning experience. Unfortunately, it is not going well. sobe Posted June 8, 2017 Author Posted June 8, 2017 I don't understand something. First, I did a simple button on a blank Helios sheet and then copied the button over to my Su-25t Helios profile and the button stays visible when flying. Yet, the RWR that I copied from the Su-27 Helios profile to the Su-25t profile disappears when I hit the fly button. Why? Interestingly, the two little dials on the RWR that are separate instruments remain visible when I fly. Capt Zeen Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 The rwr in the su27 profile is only visible when rwr is active. Select the panel and in the bindings /input section remove the line under "set hidden" and it will be visible all the time. Capt_Zeen_HELIOS PROFILES_WEBSITE Capt_Zeen_Youtube Channel
sobe Posted June 9, 2017 Author Posted June 9, 2017 It was a good idea but while the RWR stays up, the lights are all wrong, etc. So I guess I will just have to wait for your revised profile. Thanks for the help. Thanks for the help. Of course, if you want the rwr working, you need to use the export.lua prepared for the su27, that one contains all the code you need for the rwr Capt_Zeen_HELIOS PROFILES_WEBSITE Capt_Zeen_Youtube Channel
sobe Posted June 9, 2017 Author Posted June 9, 2017 I did use that special export file, but all of the lights on the RWR lit up in free flight and the RWR that came with the game was dark. I will double check that I am using the right one, but am pretty sure. I will double check that I am using the right one, but am pretty sure. Well. thats not the only thing you need to do. You need to add the SU25T to the su27 and su33 checks in: line 2943 : if gCurrentAircraft == "Su-27" or gCurrentAircraft == "Su-33" or gCurrentAircraft == "Su-25t" then if not, iand you fly the su25, the code of the rwr is not computed because you are not in a su27 Edited June 9, 2017 by Capt Zeen Capt_Zeen_HELIOS PROFILES_WEBSITE Capt_Zeen_Youtube Channel
sobe Posted June 9, 2017 Author Posted June 9, 2017 Changed that line and still the RWR in Helio is lighted different than in the cockpit so I will just have to wait for you to do the update.
