The mouse-look stops working in the cockpit when performing a F3 flyby, then using F1 going back to cockpit. The (jet turbine) sound get's a bit muffled - you can clearly hear the rotors (Quite comfy actually).

ESC, then ESC solves it again. Mouse look works in cockpit - and cockpit immersion, the sound "normalizes" again (jet turbine back to full noise level).

Known issue? Win 7 RC only issue? x64 only issue?

Environment;

Win 7 RC1 x64, 6GB mem, Core i7 940, GTX 295 Nvidia drivers 181.72 (from Windows Update)

Both Windowed mode + Fullscreen, same results. Any screen-resolution(s).

Game v.1.0 UK / Euro.

Ah, thats a bit of usefull info.

A non existing feature, that is a bug - but will be made into a new feature. :)

And ah - I understand that I might have another initial point when this happens:

1. Starting a training session.

2. Watching and learning as a good pupil. ;)

3. ESC, take control - and tries to repeat some of the lessons.

4. Use F3, then F1 - and the (lack of mouse-view) effect is present. Sound muffles.

5. ESC, ESC, mouse view works, sound return(s).

Havent flown any missions yet - must learn to handle the bird with care before I do so ;)

As far as I know, the muffled turbine noise is actually the way it's supposed to be.

The really loud turbine you can get in the beginning is actually the bug, not the other way around. (Them pilots wear some impressive hearing protection kit in their helmets.)

Yeah, I get the same bug where after I spool up an engine, then close the canopy door to quieten it, the next engine to fire up is at full noise. A quick open and close of the canopy door again fixes it. (CTRL+C)

Destroying everything for a better tomorrow!

God tip, personally I'm able to survive with the "Minor annoyance" until we hopefully get a fix in 1.0.1 :)

I'm using neither Realtek nor Creative sound systems, rather a Logitech Z-10.
