Hello guys, please I need help!

Last saturday I formatted my PC and installed W7.

My graphic card is a HIS X1950 Pro Ice Q3 256 Mb PCIe, so I downloaded and installed latest Catalyst Drivers (10.2 or 10.3)

I installed LOMAC 1.0 and then purchased, downloaded and installed FC 2.0.

The surprise was that while the loading screen (where on the top right corner says "Flaming Cliffs 2.0", and there is a picture white and blue on the center, and it says "Loading") I couldn't see the picture, mi computer just showed me "Loading" and "Flaming Cliffs 2.0", but no picture.

When the game loaded, the main menu screen was all white, and it was really difficult to read the words in the icons. There was no airplane picture.

I was suggested to downgrade my Catalyst to 8.12 so I did it. That solved the problem, but the game started on windowed mode. I clicked on full screen, and when the main menu appeared again it was flashing.

I tried to install 10.2 and it keeps flashing, installed 9.4 and flasing...

I hope you can help me, I bought it on Saturday and still haven't been able to fly...

Thanks a lot for your help!

Elfon, check you have chipset drivers installed (latest ones from your motherboard vendor website).

Also check this thread:

"A common factor is the Catalyst AI - and a few x1950.

If I recall correctly a few have experimented with different driver versions and been able to find a version that is somewhat stable for DCS:BS.

8.12 is one of the "stable", I think 9.6 or 9.7 improved some situations for others (not sure whether is was the whiteout/flicker problem)."

Another suggestion with windows 7 is to install outside C:. Just create another partition and install there. Windows XP might work, but wou'll loose a lot of perfomance.

Oh btw, before trying XP, go to Vista. Some ppl fixed flicker problems in W7 by going back to Vista. I have the same perfomance boost from Vista than from W7 btw (Vista is very good with service packs).

Hi,

I've had same problem...White menu, weird options graphics, no labels near icons.

I've tried a lot of driver packs, from 9.xx to 10.03

Finally, installing catalyst 8.12 fixed mine problem(vista driver installed on win7 ultimate).

Thx for help

yeah, you need to go to an older version of ATI Radeon Catalyst drivers for older video cards..

ASUS Strix Z790-H, i9-13900, WartHog HOTAS and MFG Crosswind

G.Skill 64 GB Ram, 2TB SSD

EVGA Nvidia RTX 2080-TI (trying to hang on for a bit longer)

55" Sony OLED TV, Oculus VR
